Someone who looks โ€œfineโ€ but has chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe trauma, or altered consciousness may be rushed in immediately. Someone who is stable may wait longer, even if they came earlier.

Waiting is frustrating but medically, it often means you are stable enough to wait. That time is being used to save someone whose life depends on minutes, not hours.

The Emergency Room is not an OPD shortcut.
It is where the most critical patients are protected first.
