CLINIC HEALTH ADVISORY
PROTECT YOUR LUNGS. WEAR A FACE MASK.

The CSA-B Health Services Center reminds the CSA-B community to take extra precautions as Bacolod City experiences VERY UNHEALTHY AIR QUALITY associated with haze.

Poor air quality can expose us to fine particles and other airborne pollutants that may irritate the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs. Prolonged exposure may also worsen respiratory symptoms, particularly among individuals who are more vulnerable to air pollution.

To help protect yourself and others:

๐Ÿ˜ท WEAR A WELL-FITTED FACE MASK
Wear a properly fitted mask when going outdoors, particularly when you need to spend an extended period outside.

๐ŸŒซ๏ธ LIMIT PROLONGED OR STRENUOUS OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Consider postponing strenuous exercise, outdoor training, and other activities that require prolonged exposure to the haze until air quality improves.

๐Ÿ  STAY INDOORS WHEN POSSIBLE
Reduce unnecessary outdoor exposure and keep doors and windows closed when appropriate, especially during periods when the haze is noticeable.

๐Ÿ’ง STAY HYDRATED AND MONITOR YOUR HEALTH
Drink enough water and pay attention to symptoms such as coughing, throat irritation, eye irritation, chest discomfort, or difficulty breathing.

โค๏ธ TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS IF YOU ARE MORE VULNERABLE
Children, older adults, pregnant women, and individuals with asthma, respiratory conditions, or heart conditions may be more sensitive to the effects of poor air quality and should take additional precautions.

If you experience significant difficulty breathing, chest pain, severe dizziness, or worsening symptoms, seek medical attention promptly.

Letโ€™s protect ourselves and one another.

Stay informed and continue to follow advisories and recommendations from the Bacolod City Health Office and the Environmental Management Bureauโ€“Negros Island Region (EMB-NIR).

Your health. Our priority.

July is observed as National Blood Donor Month pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1021 and the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the National Blood Service Act of 1994. This observance aims to raise public awareness on the importance of safe and quality blood, recognize the invaluable contribution of voluntary blood donors, and encourage regular blood donation as a lifesaving act.

A single blood donation can help save lives and provide hope to patients in need of emergency care, surgeries, and medical treatments. By donating blood, you become part of a vital effort to ensure that safe blood is available when needed.

This National Blood Donor Month, let us honor our blood donors and encourage more individuals to take part in this simple yet meaningful act of saving lives.

Donate blood. Save lives. Share hope.
