The Department of Internal Medicine thanks and congratulates our alumnus Dr Alan S Tenerife, a highly-respected cardiologist, author, and strong advocate of peripartum cardiovascular health, for the successful conduct of this Interdepartmental Conference hosted and organized by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr Tenerife presented on the Diagnosis and Management of Cardiovascular Disease in Pregnant and Expecting Women.

They have completed their one year of post graduate internship in our hospital, having competently rotated through all of our training departments and experienced the full spectrum of what our healing profession as physicians entails.

The Department of Internal Medicine proudly congratulates its contestants in the 2026 World Asthma Day Global Initiatives in Asthma (GINA) Quiz Competition held by the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (PCCP) Negros Chapter today at Park Inn Raddison Bacolod.

The team of Drs Lorneth Guey Asendente, Clarisse Hail Palermo, and Micah Sam Ormeo bagged Top 1 and Quiz Champion.

While the team of Drs Francis Raphael Torres, Paul John Villanueva, and Cyril Franz Magbanua took the Top 3 spot.

Congratulations, doctors. Your mastery of Asthma diagnosis and management were on full display in today's contest and is a fitting tribute to our recent advances in respiratory health.
