The Department of Internal Medicine proudly congratulates its contestants in the 2026 World Asthma Day Global Initiatives in Asthma (GINA) Quiz Competition held by the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (PCCP) Negros Chapter today at Park Inn Raddison Bacolod.

The team of Drs Lorneth Guey Asendente, Clarisse Hail Palermo, and Micah Sam Ormeo bagged Top 1 and Quiz Champion.

While the team of Drs Francis Raphael Torres, Paul John Villanueva, and Cyril Franz Magbanua took the Top 3 spot.

The Department of Internal Medicine congratulates Dr. Francis Raphael Torres on the successful conduct of The Doctors’ Hospital inaugural Tumor Board.

The event was moderated by our very own Dr Gregorio Galve, and attended by several guests and reactors from various medical specialties and disciplines.

The Tumor Board is a time-honored tradition in many leading institutions, bringing together specialists from different disciplines to collaboratively review complex oncologic cases. Through thoughtful discussion, multidisciplinary insight, and evidence-based deliberation, the team determines the most appropriate and individualized path forward for each patient.

This milestone marks an important step in strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing comprehensive cancer care within our institution.
