Prepares and verifies the dialysis delivery system, dialysate bath, and dialyzer, including required alarm tests.
Reviews physician orders, pre-treatment data, and patient records prior to dialysis.
Conducts pre-dialysis assessment (vital signs, vascular access, labs, general health) and verifies medication compliance.
Documents assessments and interventions; reports significant changes to providers; addresses patient concerns.
Assesses, prepares, and cannulates vascular access using sterile technique; monitors access sites for signs of failure or infection.
Administers dialysis-related and oral medications per orders/protocol.
Conducts post-dialysis assessment and discharge, including documentation of treatment and vascular access condition.
Provides patient education relevant to their condition and refers to other services (nutrition, social services, etc.) as needed.
Performs related diagnostic tests (e.g., blood sugar testing) and equipment disassembly/disinfection.
Maintains competency in regional heparinization, blood sample handling, oxygen setup, and dialysis equipment maintenance.
Demonstrates working knowledge of dialysis labs/medications and infection control practices.
Participates in quality improvement activities and data collection for the unit's CQI plan.
Responds to emergencies and provides charge nurse/leadership coverage as needed. Collaborates with the dialysis team and participates in interdisciplinary meetings

1. Maintenance and Repairs
Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of minor electrical issues (e.g., faulty outlets, lighting fixtures, wiring concerns).
Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance (e.g., leaks, clogged drains, faucet and pipe fittings).
Conduct general facility upkeep, including minor carpentry, painting, and fixture repairs as needed.
Report major electrical or plumbing issues beyond basic repair scope to the Administrative Supervisor for escalation to licensed contractors.
2. Driving and Transport Support
Drive company vehicles for errands, deliveries, pick-ups, and personnel transport as instructed by the Administrative Supervisor.
Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained (oil, tires, basic checks).
Observe traffic laws and company vehicle-use policies at all times.
Maintain a valid driver's license and ensure timely renewal.
3. Utilities and Facility Support
Assist in the monitoring and upkeep of the facility's utility systems (water, electrical, drainage).
Support preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and utility systems.
Coordinate with the Administrative Supervisor on supply needs for maintenance and repair work (tools, spare parts, materials).
4. General Support
Assist with the setup and teardown of venues/areas for company events or activities as needed.
Perform other related tasks and errands assigned by the Administrative Supervisor or Management.
๐ค๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก๐ฆ:
High school diploma or equivalent or Fresh graduate of any Engineering course (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial) or related field is preferred but not required.
Valid Philippine driver's license (Non-Professional or Professional; Professional license preferred).
Basic working knowledge of electrical and plumbing repair.
Prior experience in maintenance, utility, or driving roles is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor and lifting as needed.
Willing to be on call for urgent maintenance concerns.
