Cancer patients who are residents of Baguio City may now avail of 𝗡𝗢 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 at the 𝗦𝗟𝗨 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 through the partnership (MOA) between the Baguio City Government and the SLU Hospital of the Sacred Heart – POCC.

According to Ms. Tere Katigbak, Administrative Assistant of the SLU Cancer Center, eligible patients can receive their radiation treatments 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘 under this program.

📌 HOW TO AVAIL:
Once your doctor gives you a request for Radiation Therapy:

1️⃣ Visit the nearest Barangay Health Center
2️⃣ Request for a referral for treatment at the SLU POCC
3️⃣ Submit the required documents and coordinate with the SLU Cancer Center

God's Stage Ministries visited the cancer patients for radiation at the 𝑺𝑳𝑼 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑶𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑷𝑶𝑪𝑪)

We had two volunteers who joinied us:: Rowena Dleano, a breast cancerr survivor of 9 years who shared her healing journey and her sister Rucky Dmgb who prayed for the patients.

We are grateful to Maam Tere Katigbak for the opportunity to share hope in God and encourage each one that we are there to help and support in any way we can. No one should do this alone. We are here for you.

It was also nice to meet all their friendly staff and their Onco-Radiologist at the Center, Dr. Candelario.

𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟰 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿

I’m Jane, a follower of Christ since 2014—a wife and a mom of two young boys. I am the worst of all sinners, yet since surrendering my life to Jesus, it has become better in the ways that truly matter. In August 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.

Since then, I’ve gone through treatment, yet the disease has progressed from stage 2 to stage 4. It hasn’t been easy, but God has remained my anchor. He meets me in every moment—giving me strength when my body feels weak, peace when anxiety rises, and hope when the situation feels heavy. He has also surrounded me with people whose words and actions remind me that I am deeply loved, far beyond what I deserve. Even when I don’t fully understand His ways, I know He is with me, sustaining me and holding my life in His hands.

Cancer has been the biggest challenge my life—and our family—has had to face. Yet I can also say that Christ has been greater.

This season has deepened my faith in ways I never expected. I am closer to Him now more than ever. I’ve learned that God’s faithfulness is not dependent on my circumstances, but on who He is. And even now, I can say with confidence: He is good, He is near, and He continues to carry me through each day.

Last night felt sacred—meeting two women named Jane, both fierce warriors of Christ.

They are walking through stage 4 cancer with courage and clarity, eyes wide open. Not denying the battle, but choosing faith, hope, and trust in God, their Father.

Their lives remind me to keep seeking His unfailing love and guidance. I hold on to the hope that we will all finish strong and glorify Him when our time comes.

Until then, we say yes to the assignments He gives—finding meaning and purpose in every extension of life.

𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗢 𝗼 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 𝗯𝗮 𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘?

Minsan akala natin pag sinabing testimony o patotoo, dapat laging good news, answered prayer, success story, victorious ending...PERO ang testimony ay maaring kwento ng struggles, doubts, failures at pain din.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒂 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝑻𝑹𝑼𝑬 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒕.

𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏: pinapakita ang realidad ng buhay kahit gaano pa kagulo o ka-komplikado ng sitwasyon.

𝑻𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒕: No holds-barred, no filter ika nga...true feelings...hindi lang joy, peace, comfort, pwede ding fear, anger, hurt or confusion.

𝑴𝒂𝒚 𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒂: Hindi natin kailangang hintayin na ma-resolve ang problema o issue bago natin ibahagi sa iba, dahil hindi naman yung pagsagot ni God ang 𝒑𝒖𝒔𝒐 𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚 natin...kundi yung 𝒌𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝑺𝒊𝒚𝒂 𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 na binibigy ni God habang hinihintay natin ang pagtugon Niya sa sitwasyon natin.

Mga kwento ni Job, David at Paul ay mga halimbawa ng mga testimony na puno ng kwento ng pagdurusa nang wala pang malinaw na kasagutan, puno ng katanungan, kahinaan at paghihirap, pero makikita natin ung pagtitiwala nila sa Diyos sa kabila nito.

God is there in the beginning, as we enter our wilderness, at hindi lang ito isa..it could be more "wildernesess" than what we can imagine possible in one lifetime. Pero andun na siya sa simula, sa gitna, hanggang sa ending when we reach our promise land. Kaya wag tayong bibigay at susuko!

So if ever if you are still experiencing ongoing battles that are not yet resolved; if you have questions left unanswered; if the complete healing is still in the process, kapit lang!

Tumingin ka sa paligid at makikita mo maraming bagay pang dapat ipagpasalamat. Ikwento natin sa iba kung paano tayo iniingatan at binibiyayaan ng Panginoon sa
lahat ng ating pangangailangan sa araw-araw.

Don't miss out on God's small miracles and little victories. His presence in the NOW is worth celebrating and can lead us closer and more intimate with Him. Namnamin natin at ipagkalat how good God has been to us!
