Honeybee Multi-Purpose Cooperative We produce, process and market nature's sweetest honey bee products such as honey syrup, honey vineg Malabanan, Balete, Batangas.

In January 1992, the 'Anibang Mangagawa at Magsasaka sa Agrikultura (AMMA)', a barangay based non-government organization conducted a seminar on Values Enhancement among women of Brgy. Seeing that the women of the Barangays have no means of income, they encouraged several housewives to form a cooperative. As a result, a consumer store was put into operation as an initial livelihood project of 15

women with limited start-up capital in May 1993. Due to scarcity of capital, the informal cooperative sought the assistance of DSWD for financial support. However, it was their husbands who were granted a loan. The amount availed was pooled and invested into a honeybee production project. Since the men are involved in the project, they are recruited to be members of the informal cooperative. In 1994, the cooperative was formalized and was registered under the name "HONEYBEE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE".
