“Kathylized” is the new synonym for “beautified.” Forget the rest. Kathy Santos, a BS Psychology degree holder, is into a kind of counseling that she’s very passionate about; however, this counseling poles apart from the usual stuff you expect psychologists would do. At a young age, Kathy has had an entrepreneurial spirit. Business is her profess
ion, and beauty is her addiction. In her college years, she started selling beauty soaps formulated to help fade scars, remove blemishes, soothe dry skin, eliminate excess sebum from oily skin, and even lighten uneven skin complexion. In an effort to find a solution to every skin and beauty problem, she persisted to learn more about skincare and different beauty regimens. What’s hot and what’s not, which ones are effective and which are not. It was then that she added lotions, creams, and toners, among others, in her list that initially started with soaps—making it possible for her to establish retail stores for various beauty product lines and become an official distributor of Dr. Alvin. She’s been successfully “Kathylizing” new and returning customers, helping them with their beauty dilemmas consistently. Did she find that enough? Motivated by the belief that “everyone should have equal access to everything—even beauty,” she has decided not to stop only with retail stores.
