Ang Department of Health nagpatigayon sang Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity ukon MR-SIA sini nga Agosto 10 tubtob Agosto 28, 2026. Ini nga programa nagahatag sang libre nga bakuna kontra tigdas kag rubella para sa mga kabataan nga 6 ka bulan tubtob 59 ka bulan ang edad.

Ang tigdas isa ka masakit kag madali maglapta nga balatian. Ang rubella mahimo man maghatag sang komplikasyon, ilabi na sa mga nagabusong nga babayi kag sa ila ginadala/ ginabusong nga bata. Paagi sa pagbakuna, mapabakod naton ang proteksyon sang aton mga kabataan kag komunidad.

𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐚 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚?

𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐑 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞:
• Libre sa mga vaccination site sang gobyerno.
• Luwas kag epektibo, suno sa DOH.
• Nagahatag sang proteksyon batok sa tigdas kag rubella.
• Nagabulig nga malikawan ang paglapta sang sakit sa pamilya kag komunidad.

Bisan nabakunahan na ang bata sang una, ginapangabay gihapon ang mga ginikanan kag guardian nga dal-on ang ila anak sa MR-SIA kung yara sila sa target nga edad. Ang Supplemental Immunization Activity ginahimo agod mapataas ang proteksyon sang mga bata kag malikawan ang mga outbreak.

Mga ginikanan kag guardian, indi naton paghulaton nga magkasakit pa ang aton mga bata.

MRSIA 2026 monitoring is not simply an assessment of our accomplishments. It is a shared responsibility to verify what is working, identify gaps, and take immediate action where improvement is needed. Through careful monitoring, we can ensure that our immunization activities are properly implemented and that every eligible child receives the protection they need.

A major focus of the monitoring is the vaccine cold chain. Proper temperature control, correct vaccine storage and handling, accurate temperature documentation, functional equipment, appropriate vaccine arrangement, and proper stock management are essential to maintaining vaccine potency.

A vaccine is only as effective as the system that protects it.

Kitakitz Subong nga Aga mga Blood Heroes 🦸‍♀️ 💓🫶

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓!!!

The Local Government Unit of Batad, through the Batad Primary Care Facility / Rural Health Unit, in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross, will be conducting a 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 on August 20, 2026 (Thursday), starting at 8:00 AM onwards, at the Batad Municipal Gymnasium.

Interested blood donors are encouraged to take note of the following reminders before donating blood:
1. Get enough rest and sleep;
2. Avoid alcohol or any medication 24 hours before donating;
3. Eat a healthy meal (avoid fatty food);
4. Drink plenty of fluids (water or juice); and
5. Bring a valid government-issued ID.

Your simple act of donating blood can save lives!

Ang Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA) 2026 – Ligtas Tigdas ay hindi lang parti sa paghatag sang Bakuna. Ini isa ka dako nga panindugan kag responsibilidad sang aton kumunidad para ma protektahan ang kada Bata batok sa Tigdas/Makayha.
Sa Banwa sang Batad kada bakuna ay simbolo sang pagpalangga, malasakit, kag responsibilidad. Indi na mag hulat nga mag ka outbreak pa diri sa aton Banwa bag o mag hulag.
Mas maayo nga magbakuna subong kaysa maghinulsol sa ulihi nga tion.

Ini dugang nga Bakuna para sa inyo kabataan naga edad 6-59months old.
Ang MR nhatag na sa ila sang ng edad sila siyam ka bulan kag 12 ka bulan. Ang supplemental nga bakuna magadugang pa gid pa bakod sang ila immunity sa gina tawag nga sakit dulot sang Tipdas Makayha.

Ang tigdas kag makayha (Measles Rubella) mga balatian nga mahimo malikawan paagi sa husto kag ensakto nga pagbakuna, kag mahimo ini magbilin sang malawig nga epekto sa kabuhi sang mga kabataan, pamilya, kag komunidad.

Ang Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity indi lamang parte sang paghatag sang bakuna—ini isa ka pagpakig-upod kag pagpaninguha nga maprotektahan ang tagsa ka bata, malikawan ang paglapta sang balatian, kag mapatukod ang mas mahimsog nga palaabuton.

Ang isa ka bata nga nabakunahan isa ka bata nga naprotektahan. Ang isa ka komunidad nga nagabinuligay isa ka mas mabaskog nga komunidad.

Magbinuligay kita—mga ginikanan, health workers, manunudlo, mga lider sang komunidad, kag mga boluntaryo—agud masiguro nga wala sing bata nga mabilin nga wala maprotektahan.💪

𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐒, 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘!

On August 7, 2026, the Local Health Board Meeting was held at the Mayor’s Conference Room, bringing together local health leaders and stakeholders to address pressing health concerns and strengthen the delivery of healthcare services in our community.

Two important matters took center stage during the meeting:

🏥 Through our Supportive Local Chief Executive Hon. Elvira P. Alarcon, The DOH Health Facility Enhancement Program (HFEP) for Batad Primary Care Facility was strengthened. The Board discussed the proposed Health Facility Enhancement Program of the Department of Health (DOH) for the Batad Primary Care Facility. This initiative is an important step toward improving our health facility, strengthening healthcare delivery, and ensuring that our people have better access to safe, responsive, and quality health services.

🦟 MESU Updates on the Rising Dengue Cases
The Municipal Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (MESU) also presented updates regarding the increasing number of dengue cases. The situation calls for heightened vigilance, stronger surveillance, and, most importantly, the active participation of every household and community member in dengue prevention and control.

The meeting served as a powerful reminder that health is a shared responsibility. Government programs and health services can only succeed when our communities work hand in hand with our health workers and local leaders.

Let us remain vigilant. Search and destroy mosquito breeding places, keep our surroundings clean, and seek medical attention immediately when warning signs of dengue appear.

Together, through strong leadership, responsive healthcare, and an empowered community, we can protect lives and build a healthier Batad.

Ini nga bakuna nagahatag dugang proteksyon batok sa tigdas (measles) at rubella (makayha), duha ka viral nga sakit (diseases) nga madasig maglapta. Ang tigdas pwedi nga maglala kag mahulog sa pneumonia, encephalitis, pagkabulag, at pagkamatay kong ini indi maagapan.
Gani, gina pangabay ang aton mga ginikanan nga dal-on kag pabakunahan na ang inyo kabataan naga edad 6-59 months old sa mga masunod nga schedule sa inyo barangay para sa dugang nga proteksyon.
