The Infection Prevention and Control Unit (IPCU) of Batangas Medical Center (BATMC) is currently conducting an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Orientation for the incoming student nurses from Golden Gate Colleges as they begin their clinical affiliation at BATMC.

This orientation equips our future healthcare professionals with essential knowledge and skills on infection prevention and control, including hand hygiene, standard precautions, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), sharps safety, and other safe healthcare practices.

The Infection Prevention and Control Unit (IPCU), in collaboration with the Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Committee, successfully conducted the seminar “S.Q.U.I.D. GAME: Strengthening Quality, Unity and Infection Discipline – Infection Control is Not a Game—Collaboration is Survival.”

The seminar brought together healthcare professionals for a day of learning, collaboration, and shared commitment to strengthening infection prevention and control practices.
