𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲: 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. 𝐀𝐜𝐭.

The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2026 was successfully held on May 20, 2026 at Farmers’ Hall, Municipal Building, bringing together SK and BHW representatives, along with dedicated advocates, in a meaningful gathering aimed at raising awareness, remembering lives lost, and strengthening efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Present during the activity were SBM Ryan Andre M. Estigoy and Mr. Florentino Lopez Jr., DMO from the Department of Health, who joined participants in supporting the advocacy for greater awareness and community action against HIV/AIDS.

Initiated by the Rural Health Unit of Bauang headed by Dr. Erwill O. Nunan, Municipal Health Officer, under the leadership of Mayor Ma. Clarissa "Manang B**g" T. Lee, the program served as a call for continued awareness, compassion, and collective action toward building a healthier and more informed community.

Ang Hantaviruses ay grupo ng mga virus na nakukuha sa mga rodent gaya ng daga.

Tinitiyak ng Department of Health na ligtas ang 38 Filipino crew members na nasa loob ng barkong ito.

Mahalagang paalala ng DOH: WALANG kumpirmadong kaso ng Hantaviruses sa Pilipinas. Mahigpit na binabantayan ang borders ng bansa sa pamamagitan ng mga hakbang ng Bureau of Quarantine.

Nananatiling mababa ang panganib nito sa mundo ayon mismo sa WHO. Basahin ang social media card na ito para sa karagdagang kaalaman.
