Show up. Don’t show off.

Not every day is fast.
Not every step is strong.

But if you keep moving,
you’ll find your way—
to where the river meets the sea.

Marathoner siya.
Kaya niya tumakbo nang mas mabilis.

Pero binagalan niya —
para sabay kami.

Hindi lahat ng malakas, nauuna.
Yung iba, marunong maghintay.

Heavy runner. Slow runner. But runners who show up.
Maria Nice thanks for this 10km opportunity

Because I am Chasing the sun. ☀️
250 km done.

Hindi mabilis, pero tinapos.

Extra days helped…

The heavy me showed up for the fire.

Walang crowd.
Walang hype.
Just me, the road, and the burn.

This isn’t about speed today.
This is about staying in the game.

Every step counts.
Every km adds up.

PF Fire Virtual Challenge — I’m in.

Heavy runner.
Slow runner.
But a runner who shows up.

Project 23. Operation 3.2. Base Phase.

Interval training today.
Akala ko pampabilis.
Pang-character development pala.

2 minute tumatakbo,
2 minutes nagre-rethink ng life choices.

Pero okay lang.
Hindi naman ako nagmamadali.
Ang goal ko lang:
hindi tumigil.

Project 23. Base phase.
Dito binubuo ang tibay, hindi bilis.

Heavy runner. Slow runner. But a runner who shows up.

Project 23 – The Base Phase

Weekly Training Schedule

Hindi kailangan mabilis.
Kailangan lang tuloy-tuloy.

This is my weekly schedule for Project 23 — building the base, building the lungs, building the discipline.

Monday – Rest
Kasi ang pahinga, parte ng training.

Tuesday – Intervals
Para matuto ang katawan tumakbo kahit hingal.

Wednesday – Easy Run
Mabagal. Relaxed. Tuloy-tuloy lang.

Thursday – Tempo Run
Konting hirap. Konting laban.

Friday – Rest
Para makabawi ang tuhod at paa.

Saturday – Long Run
Dito ginagawa ang tibay.

Sunday – Recovery Walk / Light Jog
Hindi lahat ng training, mabilis.
Yung iba, tahimik lang.

This heavy weight is not training to be fast.
This heavy weight is training not to quit.

“The heavy me did not like running.
The present me does not negotiate with excuses.”

Operation 3.2 - the base phase

Today’s 6km Run — Slow but Strong.

Ran 6.71 km today focusing on heart rate, cadence, and consistency. Not fast, but this is part of the process. Right now the goal is not speed — the goal is to build the engine.

Average heart rate stayed low, which means the aerobic base is improving. This is the kind of run that doesn’t look impressive on paper, but this is exactly what builds endurance and makes faster runs possible in the future.

Training for a 3.2 km run this August. Still a long way to go, but we are building it step by step:
Intervals for speed.
Tempo for stamina.
Long runs for endurance.
Easy runs for the engine.

Trust the process. Stay consistent. No shortcuts.

Slow runs today so I can run fast when it matters.
