During a recent surgical training, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨 (𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜) teamed up for the extraction of a distomolar.

➡️ A distomolar is essentially an extra tooth (a 4th molar) that grows behind the wisdom tooth. While rare, these extra teeth can cause crowding or pressure, making surgical removal necessary for long-term oral health.
