The EVMC and DOH personnel, together with the City Health Office and the University Health Service (UHS), will be at the CCE Building today until 2:00 PM to receive our participants.

The University Health Service (UHS), in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH) Region VIII, will be conducting a FREE Cervical Cancer Screening using the HPV DNA Test on:

This FREE screening is open to qualified female members of the VSU community, including:
πŸ’— VSU Female Employees
πŸ’— ATI Female Employees
πŸ’— PCC Female Employees
πŸ’— Eligible Female Dependents

Participants must meet the eligibility criteria for the screening.

🌸 IMPORTANT: THIS IS A SELF-COLLECTION TEST

This is NOT a Pap smear.

The HPV DNA test uses a self-collected specimen, meaning you will be provided with instructions and a collection kit so you can collect your own specimen. There is no need to lie down on an examination table while a doctor collects the specimen.

It is simple, private, and designed to make cervical cancer screening more comfortable and accessible.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
The screening is intended for women 30–65 years old who meet the program criteria.
❌ The following are generally not eligible for this activity:
β€’ Pregnant women
β€’ Women who are currently menstruating or experiencing spotting
β€’ Women who have had a Pap Smear and/or VIA screening within the past 3 years
β€’ Women who have undergone TAHBSO
β€’ Women with no history of sexual contact
