From delivering countless babies into the world… to finally holding my own in my arms.

As an obstetrician, I have witnessed the strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love of mothers every single day. I have celebrated first cries, comforted anxious hearts, and shared in the miracles of new life. But nothing could have prepared me for the moment I became a mother myself.

Today, I understand motherhood not only as a doctor—but as a woman whose heart now lives outside her body.

My greatest wish and deepest fulfillment was never found in titles, achievements, or long hours in the operating room. It was this moment—becoming “Mama.”

This Mother’s Day, I celebrate every mother who gives endlessly, loves fearlessly, and carries both strength and tenderness in the same heart. And I thank God for allowing me to experience the most beautiful role of all. 🤍
