📸 DAY 3 | Specialized Sector Budgeting Seminar-Workshop & BNAP Orientation

Strengthening barangay capacity through planning, budgeting, and nutrition action.

The Specialized Sector Budgeting Seminar-Workshop, initiated by the Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) – DILG Bayog, brought together representatives from the 28 Barangays of the Municipality of Bayog—Barangay Captains, Secretaries, Treasurers, Kagawad on Health, and one additional Barangay Kagawad.

As part of the Day 3 session, the Designated Municipal Nutrition Action Officer (MNAO) Ma’am Ivy Jane D. Nahial, RN conducted the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan (BNAP) Orientation and Workshop, guiding the barangays through the essential process of developing their own BNAP—from Team, Problem Identification, Intervention, Implementation, Budgeting, Monitoring and Evaluation, up to the preparation and approval of the BNAP.

The session focused on guiding the barangays through the essential steps in crafting a responsive BNAP—from identifying the Team and nutrition Problems, planning appropriate Interventions, Implementation, Budgeting, Monitoring and Evaluation, up to the preparation and approval of the BNAP.

This activity highlights that effective nutrition programs begin with proper planning, evidence-based decisions, and appropriate budgeting. Through this workshop, our barangays are empowered to develop nutrition actions that are responsive to the actual needs of their communities.

This initiative is made stronger through the strong and continuing support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Celso A. Matias, whose commitment to strengthening local governance and improving the well-being of the people of Bayog continues to inspire collaborative action at the barangay level.

Together, we move toward better planning, better budgeting, and better nutrition outcomes for every Bayoganon. 💚

SUCCESSFUL PHILHEALTH YAKAP CARAVAN, BLOODLETTING ACTIVITY & HEALTH SERVICES
📍BRGY. BOBUAN, BAYOG, ZDS 🩺❤️🩸

Another successful community health activity of the Municipality of Bayog, through the Bayog RHU Team headed by Dra. Gretchen A. Dubrico, in strong partnership with PhilHealth RIX and the Philippine Red Cross –Pagadian Chapter.

Yesterday’s activity may have featured different services and advocacies, but they all shared one goal: bringing essential health services closer to our community and ensuring that more Bayoganons are connected to the healthcare benefits and services they deserve.

From promoting breastfeeding for a healthier start in life, Family Planning for responsible and informed family decisions, and VIA screening for the early detection and prevention of cervical cancer, to advocating for PhilHealth enrollment, updated membership, available benefits, and YAKAP—every service is a step toward prevention, protection, and better health. 🩺

We also assisted individuals who had not yet enrolled with PhilHealth, particularly pregnant women and senior citizens, so they can better access the health benefits they deserve.

And through our Bloodletting Activity, with 38 successful blood donors, our community once again showed that caring for our health also means caring for others. Every blood donation can give hope and help save a life.

With the continued commitment and support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Celso A. Matias, and through the dedication of our health workers and partner agencies, we continue to bring health closer to our people.

Because a healthier community begins with informed choices, prevention, and accessible health services for all.

Successful conduct of Free Chest X-Ray Screening at RHU Bayog in Partnership with ZDS-IPHO and MARADECA, Inc. 🫁🩻

The Free Chest X-Ray Screening held today at Kahayagan Gymnasium, Poblacion, Municipality of Bayog, under the leadership and support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Celso A. Matias, was successfully conducted.

A total of 192 individuals from different barangays of Bayog benefited from this initiative, receiving vital health screening aimed at the early detection of chest-related illnesses.

This community health drive focused on promoting respiratory wellness, particularly among individuals at risk for tuberculosis, pneumonia, and other pulmonary conditions. By providing free access to diagnostic imaging, we aim to empower individuals with timely health information and encourage preventive care. Early detection saves lives, and we are grateful for the participation and cooperation of everyone involved.

We also extend our appreciation to the RHU Bayog Team, headed by Dr. Gretchen A. Dubrico, together with TB Coordinator Ma’am Betty Jane Liguan, RN, the RHU staff, Barangay Health Workers, and everyone who contributed to making this healthcare service accessible to our community.

A heartfelt thank you as well to ZDS-IPHO and the MARADECA Team for their valuable partnership and cooperation in making this health initiative possible. Your dedication and collaboration have made a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community. 🤍
