Unihealth-Southwoods Hospital and Medical Center (USHMC) began its operations on November 17, 2014 and was formally inaugurated on December 10, 2014. Located in the fast-growing commercial and business hub of Southwoods Ecocentrum Business Park in Biñan City, USHMC is a tertiary hospital with 100-bed capacity. Our advocacy is embodied in our slogan: “Leading you to better health”

a community level where we choose to operate, we would like to lead in improving the health and wellness of our constituency in Biñan City, San Pedro, and Sta Rosa, Laguna, Carmona, Cavite and nearby areas. We provide complete medical services, affordable yet modern medical technology, and highest quality patient care backed by competent and high-performing medical staff. It consists of didactics and practicum utilizing the procedure checklist as an evaluation tool for safe IV practice and demonstration of basic skills.

Day 2 of our Nurses Week Celebration was truly a meaningful and exciting one! 💙✨

We started the morning with an informative and interactive lecture together with our nurses, led by our very own guest speaker, Dr. Rainier Mark Gabriel Alegria, discussing “Healthy Lifestyle 101” — reminding us that caring for ourselves is just as important as caring for others. 🩺🌿

To cap off the day, the spotlight was on our talented candidates during the Pre-Pageant Talent Night of Mr. & Ms. Nightingale, where each contestant proudly showcased their skills, confidence, and creativity. 🌟🎤💃

💙✨ Day 1 of our Nurses Week Celebration ✨💙

We officially opened this meaningful celebration with a Holy Mass and General Assembly together with our dedicated nursing team. Inspiring opening remarks were delivered by our Nursing Service founder and head, Dr. Estephany Marie Guerra, reminding us of the passion, commitment, and compassion nurses bring every day.

This year’s Nurses Week theme, “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.” truly reflects the strength, dedication, and invaluable role of nurses in shaping quality healthcare and saving lives every single day. 💙

We were also joined by guest speakers from Sun Life Philippines, Oona Insurance, and PaciFlyer Travel and Tours who shared valuable insights and opportunities for our healthcare heroes.

Special recognition was given to our Daisy Award nominees, outstanding staff nurses, and hospital areas for their dedication and exemplary service. 🎖️💙

The presentation of the video-making contest also became one of the highlights of the day. Through each video, the effort, passion, dedication, and everyday life of nurses were beautifully showcased — proving that despite the hardships, challenges, and sacrifices, nurses continue to serve with compassion, strength, and heart. 🎥👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

The opening of the food and drinks bazaar added more fun and excitement to the celebration, bringing everyone together to enjoy good food and fellowship. 🍔🥤

In the afternoon, different unit teams participated in the much-awaited Family Feud game, filling the venue with laughter, teamwork, camaraderie, and friendly competition. 🎉🏆
