Ngayong Agosto, isasagawa ang MR-SIA at Vitamin A Administration o Ligtas Tigdas Campaign para sa mga batang 6-59 months old. Dalhin sila sa pinakamalapit na fixed and temporary vaccination sites sa inyong lugar.

The Rural Health Unit of Bobon successfully launched the 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘀-𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗠𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗔) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗔 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in Barangay Magsaysay, led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Reny A. Celespara. Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Ligaya T. Uy emphasized the importance of shared responsibility in protecting children through vaccination and strengthening community efforts to prevent Measles and Rubella, and their complications.

Also present were Provincial DOH Officer Dr. Rommel C. Francisco, the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, led by Committee on Health Chairperson Hon. Mylene D. Gepollo, MDRRMO Head Jose Esquillo, Punong Barangay Hon. Margarita Nuque of Barangay Magsaysay, other Barangay Captains, BFP, the staff of the Rural Health Unit headed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Henry T. Novales, and our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs).

MRSIA aims to protect children 6 months to 59 months old against measles and rubella and prevent the serious complications caused by these diseases. This activity highlights the importance of strong collaboration among our health workers, local government, partner agencies, barangays, and the community in protecting our children.

Our heartfelt thank you to all parents and guardians who brought their children and supported the activity. Your trust and cooperation are vital in ensuring that our children receive the protection they need.

Ang 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒔-𝑹𝒖𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 (MRSIA) ay isang programa na naglalayong magbigay ng karagdagang proteksyon laban sa tigdas (measles) at tigdas hangin (rubella). Lahat ng batang 6–59 buwang gulang, anuman ang kanilang vaccination status, ay hinihikayat na tumanggap ng supplemental vaccine.

The Rural Health Unit of Bobon successfully concluded the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 last July 30, 2026, carrying this year's theme: "𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝘼𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙖𝙣"

The culmination program brought together our local leaders and partners, including our Municipal Mayor Hon. Reny A. Celespara, Vice Mayor Hon. Ligaya T. Uy, SB on Health Hon. Mylene Gepollo, Sangguniang Bayan Members, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Henry T. Novales, DOH Nutritionist-Dietitian Ms. Aila Diaz, Rural Health Unit personnel, and Barangay Nutrition Scholars, in reaffirming our shared commitment to promoting proper nutrition while protecting our environment.

The celebration highlighted the vital connection between a healthy population and a healthy environment— reminding us that caring for our natural resources helps ensure safe, nutritious, and sustainable food for every family.

The RHU Bobon extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this year's Nutrition Month activities. Together, let us continue working towards a healthier, well-nourished, and more resilient Bobon!

As part of the celebration of Nutrition Month 2026, the Municipality of Bobon successfully conducted the 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 last July 28, 2026, showcasing healthy, nutritious, and affordable dishes prepared by participating barangays.

The competition highlighted the creativity and commitment of our communities in promoting proper nutrition through the use of locally available and nutritious ingredients. Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding efforts and dedication to healthy cooking!
