til one day I woke up having a severe headache, nausea and vomiting a lot. I don’t understand what was happening to me unto the point that I need to go to the clinic and do my laboratory test. I found out that my creatinine level was elevates to 20 mg/dl, meaning that I was on the End Stage of Chronic Kidney Disease. June 04, 2020 when I was rushed in the hospital and immediately do the emergency dialysis. I was in Dubai that time as an OFW when I was diagnosed, because of hospital bills and dialysis fee, I am forced to resign from my job - it affects my schedule and go back in the Philippines. Dialysis is a lifetime treatment and it cost me a lot every session aside from my medicine expenses. Kidney transplantation is the only way for me to go back to my normal life. One of my love one will be my hero who is willing to undergo this life extending procedure for me. As we inquire at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI), the operation amount to approximately Php 1.5 million. My family won’t be able to afford the cost. I know that we’re all going through something in this time of crisis but I just want to take this moment to ask for your help to share a Peso for my Treatment and Kidney Transplant.
