The CTO helps ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ and ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐ž the neck, limiting unnecessary movement of the ๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ and ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ข๐œ areas while the patient awaits further evaluation and possible surgery.

Unlike a conventional HKAFO, an RGO uses a reciprocating mechanism to create a more natural, alternating walking pattern, helping patients with paralysis from the trunk down to both legs walk more efficiently with support and physical therapy.
