HOW TO DEAL WITH A TRAUMA OF LOSING A BABY?
➡️ Make a new birthing memory that would erase all the pain and bad memories.

Patient was always crying whenever she remembers her first baby born at 32 weeks AOG with intrauterine growth restriction that eventually died in the NICU.

On October 7, we delivered her second baby at 36-37 weeks. Her greatest fear? Maadmit si baby sa NICU kasi her fear na hindi na makakalabas si baby to be with them was haunting her. With proper treatment and monitoring (AND LOTS OF PRAYERS), her baby was roomed in and was discharged together with mommy.

✅ 1 miscarriage
✅ several autoimmune problems

It was challenging but always worth it. Thank you, Lord for blessing this couple with their much awaited angel. 🙏🏻❤️

Attended the AOFOG 2026 Convention in Sydney and proud to see a Filipino OB giving her lecture in the international stage. 🤩

Interesting topic and what I always tell my patients presenting with a BENIGN OVARIAN MASS: TRY PO NATIN TANGGALIN LANG ANG CYST AT HINDI ANG BUONG O***Y.

Patient 1: Infertility patient with an incidental finding of an ovarian cyst (~8 cm) who underwent ovarian cystectomy —> 3 months after, PT POSITIVE na!

Patient 2: Nulligravid (wala pang anak) and single, with bilateral ovarian cysts (probably dermoid cysts), the largest one at 12 cm —> successfully underwent bilateral oophorocystectomy.

BOTTOMLINE: Hindi po kailangan tanggalin agad ang ovaries lalo na kung:
1. Bata pa ang pasyente
2. May balak pang magkaanak
3. Benign lang ang bukol

CONSULT YOUR OB FOR PROPER ASSESSMENT. ☝🏻

✅ ANGULAR o ECCENTRIC PREGNANCY
✅ BICORNUATE UTERUS
✅ APAS
✅ INCOMPETENT CERVIX

At persistently breech din si baby kaya CS. Umabot kami hanggang 35 weeks pero nagrupture na ang panubigan ni mommy kaya we had to do an emergency CS. Isa pa sa mga pasyente kong hinabol ako bago umalis. 😅

Nung una, akala pa namin CORNUAL PREGNANCY sya. Ito yung pregnancy na nasa pagitan ng matres at fallpoian tube ang pagbubuntis na considered as ECTOPIC PREGNANCY din. Pero sa mabusising pag ultrasound at monitoring, ang tawag sa ganitong pagbubuntis ay ANGULAR o ECCENTRIC PREGNANCY na nasa loob pa din ng matres at medyo nakagilid at mataas lang.

Congratulations! Ok na din na nanganak ka na kasi mas mapapanatag din ako na okay na kayo ni baby mo. 🙏🏻😇

DALAWA ANG MATRES? Baka UTERINE DIDELPHYS yan?!

Nagulat si patient nung sinabi ko sa kanya na mukhang dalawa ang matres nya. Syempre ang unang tanong ay ANO PO ANG POSIBLENG EPEKTO NITO KAY BABY?
1. Preterm birth - muntik na
2. Growth restriction ☑️
3. Malpresentation ☑️
4. PPROM (o maagang pagputok ng panubigan na kulang pa sa buwan)
5. Cesarean delivery ☑️

INTERESTING QUESTION: CS po ba ako ulit sa next pregnancy?
❗️DEPENDE. Basta nakapwesto si baby (CEPHALIC) at sa kabilang matres ka naman magbubuntis sa susunod ay PWEDENG MAGNORMAL (at syempre walang ibang contraindication to normal delivery). 😊
