Dear Students, Staff, and Visitors,

Please be informed that the Wesleyan University Clinic will undergo its first-ever ISO external audit on July 21, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. During this time, the clinic will not be issuing medical certificates and will only cater to consultations, check-ups, or emergencies.

Regular services, including the issuance of medical certificates, will resume at 1:30 PM.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve the quality of healthcare services at our clinic through this important audit.

Day 3 Medical Responder – Clustered Commencement Exercise
On the third day, medical responders are basically the go-to team for keeping everyone safe and healthy. They also stay connected with other teams so that any medical issue gets sorted quickly. Think of them as the friendly safety net, making sure the whole exercise runs smoothly.

Since large gatherings can pose challenges such as heat exhaustion, fainting, or even emergencies, the medical responder team provides reassurance that help is immediately available if needed.

Some practical tips for medical teams during ceremonies, such as:

Emergency preparedness: Having clear protocols for crowd-related incidents, heatstroke, or cardiac emergencies.

First aid stations: Setting up visible and accessible points for quick response.

Hydration support: Encouraging water availability, especially for graduates in gowns in the hot weather.

Coordination with organizers: Staying in sync with security and staff for smooth handling of incidents.

Medical & Dental Screening – 2nd Batch Grade 4 pupil(Today)
Our STUDENT ASSISTANTS are helping facilitate the screening by:

1. Checking health records to ensure accuracy and completeness

2. Recording height and weight for each pupil

3. Computing BMI to monitor growth and wellness

4. Managing clinic traffic to keep the process smooth and organized
