A little work, a little adventure, and a lot of good memories. 💚

Our developmental assessment in Kiangan, Ifugao, last September 18–19 was not just about work. Even with our short, one-night stay, we were able to explore, unwind, and enjoy the warmth of the community. 🏞️✨

With the help of Mr. and Mrs. Habiling of Habiling Therapy and Learning Center, we were able to visit the Yamash*ta Shrine. Thank you for helping us experience a little more of Kiangan beyond our assessment activities! 💚

We also want to express our appreciation to Mr. Larry and Mrs. Ellen Famorca, who manage El Kikasa Homestay. Thank you for making our one-night stay feel so homely and comfortable. After a long day of assessment, having a welcoming place where we could rest and recharge meant so much to our team. 🏡💚

From meaningful work to memorable moments, this short trip reminded us how much we value the people we meet and the communities we get to visit.

Developmental Assessment: Understanding Differences, Supporting Inclusion 💚

On September 18–19, 2026, Padayon Psych conducted developmental assessments for learners from different schools in Kiangan, Ifugao.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Habiling of Habiling Therapy and Learning Center for warmly hosting our team and helping facilitate the assessment. Thank you for your hospitality, time, and support in making this two-day activity possible. 💚

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to all the schools that participated in the assessment. To the school administrators, staff, and teachers, thank you for your cooperation, assistance, and commitment to supporting your learners. Your participation helped us continue our efforts to understand developmental differences and promote inclusion in the community.

We are grateful for the trust, collaboration, and warm welcome we received in Kiangan. Together, we continue working toward making developmental and psychological services more accessible to learners and communities.

On September 9–10, 2026, Padayon Psych conducted developmental assessments for students from different schools in Tinoc, Ifugao, hosted at Tinoc Central School.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the schools that took part in the assessment:

To all the school administrators, staff, and teachers, thank you for your cooperation, patience, and support throughout the two-day assessment. We know that activities like this can come with their own set of challenges, but your willingness to work with us and help make the assessments happen allowed us to continue and serve the students who needed them. 💙

A special thank you to Ms. Regina Laguiwey for facilitating the assessment and to Tinoc Central School for warmly hosting our team and the participating schools. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into making the activity possible.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Tinoc for accommodating our team during our stay. Since this was an overnight activity, your hospitality and assistance made our time in Tinoc more comfortable and allowed us to focus on the assessment. Thank you for welcoming us and taking care of us while we were there. 💚

And, of course, a big thank you to our interns from Ifugao State University and University of La Salette for their continuous assistance throughout the assessment. Your dedication, patience, and willingness to help were greatly appreciated, especially during a busy two-day activity.

Despite the difficulties we encountered along the way, we are grateful that we were able to continue, complete the assessment, and reach the students and schools who welcomed us.

Yesterday, September 4, 2026, Padayon Psych conducted developmental assessments at Asipulo Central School in Asipulo, Ifugao.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Jocelyn Dupingay, Principal of Asipulo Central School, for warmly hosting us and helping facilitate the assessment. We are also grateful to the school staff and teachers for their assistance, cooperation, and support throughout the activity. Padayon Psych is looking for On-Call Psychometricians to join our growing team. 💚

We are inviting individuals passionate about psychological assessment and mental health services to work with us on an on-call basis in Quirino Province and Ifugao Province.

Qualifications:
✔️ Registered Psychometrician (RPm)
✔️ Knowledge and/or experience in psychological assessment is an advantage
✔️ Professional, reliable, and committed to ethical practice
✔️ Willing to work on an on-call arrangement
✔️ Willing to travel within Quirino and Ifugao Provinces when needed
✔️ Proficiency in Ilokano or Ifugao language is an advantage

As we commemorate National Heroes Day, we’re also taking a moment to recognize the people who show us what it means to care.

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. They’re the ones wading through floodwaters to help a family get to safety, checking in on a neighbor during a typhoon, lending a hand when someone needs it, or simply showing up for another person. 🫶

Because being a hero doesn’t always mean doing something extraordinary. Sometimes, it’s choosing to care. To help. To listen. To be there.
