6th Hakab sa Oro Culminating Activity
The 6th Hakab sa Oro Culminating Activity was held on August 13, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at De Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.
The LGU Camaman-an actively participated in this meaningful celebration by bringing six (6) lactating mothers who generously volunteered to donate breast milk. Their participation highlighted the importance of breastfeeding, breast milk donation, and supporting the health and nutrition of infants and young children.
This activity demonstrated the commitment of LGU Camaman-an to promoting breastfeeding and ensuring that every child has access to the best possible nutrition during the early stages of life.
The activity reflects the continued commitment of Punong Barangay Carl Harrison D. Galarrita and the Barangay Council in supporting programs that promote breastfeeding, maternal health, and proper nutrition for children.

SSS – SUGOD SITO SERVICES
Sito Tierra del Puerto, Barangay Camaman-an
The SSS – Sugod Sito Services was successfully conducted at Sito Tierra del Puerto, Barangay Camaman-an, bringing essential barangay services closer to the residents and making government and community services more accessible right in their sitio.
The activity provided a wide range of services, including health center services led by the health personnel headed by Dr. Heide Joy Bahian, health and nutrition assistance, vaccination of cats and dogs, distribution of Vitamin A, and “May Pa-Arrozcaldo” food assistance.
Residents also benefited from haircut and manicure services, while other barangay services and assistance were provided through the participation of the different Barangay-Based Institutions (BBIs).
The activity was made possible through the active support and cooperation of the Barangay Council, health personnel, BNS, BHW, Barangay Tanods, Lupon, CDT, CDV, administrative staff, and other barangay personnel and volunteers.
This meaningful program would not have been possible without the leadership, support, and commitment of Punong Barangay Carl Harrison D. Galarrita, whose dedication to bringing essential services closer to the people continues to strengthen community-based service delivery in Barangay Camaman-an.
The SSS – Sugod Sito Services demonstrates the commitment of Barangay Camaman-an to bring services closer to the people, ensuring that residents receive accessible health, nutrition, social, and community services without having to travel far from their homes.

5th Nutrition Forum
Theme: “Matatag na Nutrisyon sa Gitna ng Nagbabagong Panahon”

The LGU Camaman-an actively participated in the 5th Nutrition Forum organized by the District City Nutrition Program Coordinators Association of the Philippines (DCNPCAP), Region X. The forum gathered nutrition q nutrition and climate strategies into Local Nutrition Action Plans.
Health Care Service Packages during disasters and emergencies.
Recognition of outstanding National and Regional Local Nutrition Program Coordinators.
The activity provided participants with updated knowledge, best practices, and strategies to strengthen localq nutrition programs and improve the delivery of nutrition services in their respective communities.
LGU Camaman-an remains committed to supporting nutrition initiatives and working with partner agencies to build a healthier, more resilient, and well-nourished community.

Flag Raising Ceremony
Date: August 3, 2026
Venue: 3rd Floor, Barangay Hall, Camaman-an
The LGU Camaman-an employees gathered for the regular Flag Raising Ceremony on August 3, 2026 at the 3rd Floor Barangay Hall. The ceremony was attended by the Barangay Council, health personnel, Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Lupon members, Tanods, Barangay staff, maintenance personnel, Solo Parent Office staff, SK officials, and other LGU employees.
The activity served as an opportunity to promote patriotism, unity, discipline, and commitment to public service. Announcements, updates, and reminders on upcoming barangay programs and activities were also shared to ensure the continuous delivery of quality services to the community.
The active participation and unwavering support of the Barangay Council, led by Punong Barangay Carl Harrison D. Galarrita, reflected the LGU's commitment to teamwork, good governance, and responsive public service for the people of Barangay Camaman-an.

Activity: Lactation Management Education Training
Participants: Five (5) Lactating Mothers from Barangay Camaman-an
Barangay Camaman-an proudly participated in the Lactation Management Education Training held on July 30, 2026 at Maria Reyna-Xavier University Hospital, Inc. Five (5) lactating mothers from the barangay attended the training to enhance their knowledge and skills on proper breastfeeding and infant nutrition.
The training focused on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, correct breastfeeding techniques, proper positioning and attachment, management of common breastfeeding concerns, and the vital role of family and community support in promoting successful breastfeeding. Participants also joined interactive discussions and group activities that strengthened their confidence in caring for their infants.
This activity reflects Barangay Camaman-an's continued commitment to promoting maternal and child health through breastfeeding education, ensuring that mothers are empowered with the knowledge and support needed to provide the best nutrition for their children. The training also supports the goals of the First 1,000 Days Program and the celebration of Nutrition Month.

Emergency BNS Meeting
Preparation for the July Nutrition Month Culmination Program
On July 22, 2026, an Emergency Meeting was convened at the 2nd Floor Session Hall to discuss and finalize preparations for the upcoming July Nutrition Month Culmination Program.
The meeting was attended by Punong Barangay Carl Harrison D. Galarrita, Hon. Jasmin T. Borja, Kagawad on Health, and the Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs). The gathering focused on ensuring the successful implementation of the culminating activity through proper planning, coordination, and teamwork.
Key matters discussed included:
Finalization of the Nutrition Month Culmination Program.
Assignment of committees and individual responsibilities.
Preparation of the venue, program flow, and logistical requirements.
Coordination of materials, prizes, and other activity needs.
Confirmation of participants and support from barangay officials.
Emphasis on teamwork and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Punong Barangay Carl Harrison D. Galarrita and Kagawad on Health Hon. Jasmin T. Borja expressed their full support for the Nutrition Month activities and encouraged everyone to work together to ensure a meaningful and successful celebration that promotes proper nutrition and community participation.
