No man is an island who faces the storm alone. Don't be afraid to reach the bridge that connects you to the people who love and care for you. Calling for them is not weakness, but a progress towards healing.

The storm may feel endless, but it will surely pass; and you will be there, taking in the warmth of a brand new day.

If you or someone you know is struggling, we are in this together. Letโ€™s reach out to the people we trust, to our families, to the people we hold dear. We can also always seek professional help. You are never alone.

From awareness to action, from learning to empowerment, Ballot Pinoy continues its journey. ๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

This time, we bring our advocacy beyond the classroom and into the community, partnering with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to conduct a Voterโ€™s Education activity with the students of Alubijid National Comprehensive High School (ANCHS).

Through meaningful conversations and learning, we hope to help our youth understand the power that comes with every ballotโ€”the right to choose, the responsibility to be informed, and the role each of us plays in shaping the future of our communities and our country.

Because building a better Philippines begins long before election day. It begins with knowledge, awareness, and the courage to make informed choices.

PROJECT CARE IN ACTION! ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿฉต

On September 4, 2026, our team together with our partner barangay healthcare workers (BHWs) set out to visit targeted areas within Brgy. Molocboloc to do BP monitoring, medication refills, and to talk to the community about DASH diet ๐Ÿด๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿ—๐Ÿฅ›๐Ÿฅ—๐ŸŸ๐Ÿฅœ๐ŸŒฝ

A DASH eating plan (Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension) is a flexible and balanced way to think about eating food while maintaining an individual's BP goals. A DASH diet requires no specific ingredients, but instead opts for a variety of food in appropriate amounts.

Through these house-to-house visits, we were not only able to check in on residents currently registered under Project CARE, we were also able to meet residents who were known hypertensives but have been lost to follow-up. This way, we were able to capture their concerns, assess their status, and respond to their needs, which we can eventually evaluate as we analyze how to better approach promoting community health.

This is what Project CARE can do! Stay tuned for more exciting & meaningful activities with Brgy. Molocboloc!

What is Project CARE? ๐Ÿค”

PROJECT CARE (Capture, Assess, Respond, and Evaluate Patients with Hypertension and Diabetes) is a Community-Oriented Primary Care (COPC) initiative designed to strengthen the prevention and management of Hypertension (HTN) and Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in Barangay Molocboloc, Alubijid, Misamis Oriental.

Initiated by the clinical clerks of Batch Amandi, the project seeks to establish a community-based continuum of care that improves patient identification, assessment, follow-up, and access to healthcare services through the active participation of Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), barangay officials, and the Rural Health Unit (RHU).

Because together, we Capture those at risk, Assess their needs, Reach those who need support, and Enable healthier lives ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

A meaningful conversation can be the beginning of healing, understanding, and hope.

The Storya Ta! Mental Health Symposium was successfully held in the Municipality of Alubijid, bringing together residents and community partners for an insightful and meaningful conversation on mental health.

Our guest speaker, Dr. Tristan Jediah Labitad, shared an enlightening discussion on the importance of mental health and how simply starting a conversation, listening, and making someone feel heard can make a difference in a personโ€™s life. His message reminded us that sometimes, the first step toward helping someone is simply being there and saying, โ€œ๐‘บ๐’•๐’๐’“๐’š๐’‚ ๐’•๐’‚.โ€ ๐Ÿ’™

We were also honored by the presence of Dr. Krenz Glovil Yaba, Municipal Health Officer of Alubijid, whose support and commitment to promoting the health and well-being of every Alubijidnon helped make this gathering possible.

The symposium also marked the launch of โ€œProject NGIPON: Nurturing Good Individual Practices for Oral Nutrition,โ€ an advocacy initiative of XUJPRSM Clinical Clerks Group 2 โ€“ Batch Amandi, highlighting the importance of proper oral health practices in promoting nutrition and overall well-being. ๐Ÿฆท

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Rural Health Unit & Local Government Unit of Alubijid, XUJPRSM Clinical Clerks Group 2 โ€“ Batch Amandi, Philippine Academy of Family Physicians, Misamis Oriental Medical Society, our speakers, partners, and most especially the residents of Alubijid who joined us and made this event a success.

Because every story deserves to be heard, every conversation matters, and every person deserves to be cared for. ๐ŸŒฑ
