March: a month of lectures.

During residency, my mentor taught me to replace OBJECTIVES with LEARNING OUTCOMES in my slide decks. This shifted the perspective from the teacher, who charts the course to knowledge, to the student, who crosses the finish line at the end. Over the years, I have come to understand that I am also on that course. I too am a student. The assessable behaviors in the outcomes I write are my goals too. For learning is not a path, it is a road - a highway that never ends for as long as we remain on it.
