DOWNSIZED HER PRETTY SNAKEBITES PIERCING β£οΈβ¨
WHY DOWNSIZING IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP ON YOUR PIERCING'S HEALING PROCESS:
For initial piercing, we use longer bar to anticipate swelling. However, after the swelling phase of your piercing, the jewelry will be too long and could be tugged/slept on unintentionally. This will cause your healing piercing wound to flare up and cause unnecessary swelling and could lead to infection, migration and worse, rejection.
It is important to change the jewelry to a shorter length to avoid interrupting the healing wound of your piercing. Downsizing helps reduce movement and promotes healthier healing.
Why Downsizing Matters
βοΈ Prevents irritation and snagging
βοΈ Reduces pressure on the piercing
βοΈ Promotes smoother healing
