BHW Calbayog, with the support of our dedicated health workers, actively participated in the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA), ensuring that children aged 6–59 months received their scheduled vaccination. Together, we continue to protect our children and promote a healthier community.

💉❤️Let’s protect our children. ❤️💉 Don’t believe in fake news—always rely on trusted health professionals and verified information. Together, we can keep our children safe and healthy.

The City Health Office (CHO) of Calbayog City conducted a training for Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) Batch 1 on risk assessment to strengthen their ability to identify and assess health risks in their respective barangays. The training also included hands-on instruction on the proper use of blood pressure (BP) apparatus, enabling BHWs to accurately monitor blood pressure and provide quality primary health care services to the community.

The activity was led by our City Health Officer, Dr. Sylvia De Guzman, together with CHO Assistant Dr. Ginalee Romano and the dedicated facilitators, whose guidance and expertise made the training informative, practical, and empowering for all participating

A big thank you to our City Mayor, Raymund C. Uy, for providing BP apparatus to all our BHWs in Calbayog City. Your support strengthens our frontline health workers in delivering quality healthcare to every barangay. Kudos, Mayor! 👏💙
