PUROKALUSUGAN LAUNCHING IN BRGY. CAN-ILAY and BRGY. CANTEROS

Through the Municipal Health Office (MHO), headed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Felix Nicart, the Municipality of Can-avid continues to bring primary health care services closer to every community.

PuroKalusugan was successfully launched in:

Brgy. Can-ilay – September 10, 2026
Brgy. Canteros – September 11, 2026

The launching activities were made possible through the participation and support of our local leaders and community partners, including: Dr. Jeah Hiponia-DTTB, Hon. Bernard Gales, SB Member on Health, Hon. Elgino J. Jarabe, Punong Barangay of Can-ilay, Hon. Wilfredo Legua, Punong Barangay of Brgy. Canteros, Rómulo Irasga III and Loui Diaz of PNP-CMPS, Barangay officials, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health Workers, Community members and volunteers

Through PuroKalusugan, we strengthen community participation and make essential health services more accessible, responsive, and closer to the people.

Hino-hino an priority han Libre nga chest X-ray mga 15 years old and above nga:

1. Close contact o household members of person with TB
2. Public Transport Drivers and construction workers
3.Senior Citizens
4. Diabetic
5. Smokers
6. Healthcare Workers
7. 4Ps beneficiaries
8. TB treatment history and with immunosuppressive condition ( Autoimmune disease, HIV, ng DiDialysis, Cancer)

Pinalawig ng Department of Health ang ating Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) o Ligtas Tigdas Campaign hanggang SEPTEMBER 4, 2026.

Layunin ng extension na ito na maabot pa ang lahat ng batang hindi pa nababakunahan at masiguro na WALANG BATANG MAIIWAN na walang proteksyon laban sa nakakahawa at mapanganib na sakit na Measles at Rubella.

SINO ANG DAPAT PABAKUNAHAN?
Lahat ng bata na may edad 6 buwan hanggang 59 buwan (4 years old at 11 months), kahit pa may bakuna na noon o wala pang bakuna laban sa tigdas. Isang karagdagang dose ito para sa mas matibay na proteksyon.

BAKIT ITO MAHALAGA?
Ang tigdas ay lubhang nakakahawa at maaaring magdulot ng malubhang komplikasyon tulad ng pulmonya, pagkabulag, at pagkaantala ng paglaki ng bata. Ang pinakamabisang proteksyon ay ang kumpletong bakuna. Ang bakuna ay LIBRE, LIGTAS, at napatunayang EPEKTIBO.

Pumunta lamang sa inyong pinakamalapit na:
📍 Rural Health Unit (RHU)
📍 Barangay Health Station (BHS)
📍 Barangay Vaccination Post / Temporary Post
📍 At sa ating mga house-to-house vaccination teams

Magdala lamang ng Immunization Card / Baby Book ni baby at huwag kalimutang isama si nanay o tatay o guardian.

Huwag na nating hintayin pang magkasakit si baby bago kumilos. Kung hindi pa nabakunahan sa MR-SIA, pumunta na ngayong linggo.
