During the 4th anniversary celebration of Ilocos Sur Medical Center (ISMC), Medical Center Chief Dr. Angel D. Trinidad III highlighted the hospitalโs impressive progress and future plans.
In his message, Dr. Trinidad shared that ISMC has grown from a simple goal of providing accessible and compassionate healthcare into a fast-developing medical institution. Today, it offers a wide range of general and specialized services, modern diagnostic tools, and life-saving treatments. He credited this progress to the hard work of healthcare workers, strong partnerships, and continued support from leaders and stakeholders.
He also discussed important developments such as the expansion of specialty centers, ongoing training programs, and the establishment of the Bagong Urgent Care and Ambulatory Service (BUCAS) Center in San Emilio, Ilocos Sur. This new facility brings vital medical services closer to local communities.
Looking ahead, Dr. Trinidad emphasized ISMCโs dedication to further improvement through new facilities, advanced equipment, and better patient-focused services. The hospital aims to become a Level 3 training hospital by 2027.
He ended his message by thanking the entire ISMC team and its partners, encouraging everyone to work together and support one another in building a healthier and stronger Ilocos Sur. ๐
