Question: How old can my child get the flu shot?
Answer: Children 6 months and older are advised to receive the flu vaccine yearly to help protect them from seasonal influenza.

Question: Will my son/daughter get a fever after the shot?
Answer: Each child responds differently to vaccines, but some may develop mild fever after the shot. This is a common and expected reaction. It can usually be managed with paracetamol, which is prescribed as standby during the vaccine visit.

However, if the fever persists beyond 24–48 hours, it is likely not related to the vaccine, and a follow-up check-up is recommended.

Question: Why are some flu shots offered at a much cheaper price elsewhere?
Answer: It’s important to ensure that your child’s vaccine is given by a licensed physician, ideally a pediatrician, and sourced from a reputable medical clinic or facility.

Lower-cost offers may sometimes raise concerns about proper storage, handling, or authenticity of the vaccine. Unfortunately, counterfeit or improperly handled vaccines can exist in the market.

For your child’s safety, it’s best to choose a trusted healthcare provider who can both administer the vaccine properly and manage any possible reactions.
