Today , May 31, 2026 is World No To***co Day!!! Smoking kills!!! Data shows that 10 Filipinos Die every hour brought about by smoking- related diseases that includes Cardiovascular diseases ( heart attack , stroke , CAD, PVD), Lung Cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema ) , Cancers of other Organs ( blood, kidney, GIT, mouth, spleen, pancreas, breast, uterus).
It's not yet too late, you can quit Smoking !!!

𝗗𝗢𝗛 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗘 𝗨𝗣 𝗨𝗛𝗖 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH Central Visayas CHD) conducted the 2026 1st Triannual Regional Implementation and Coordination Team (RICT) Meeting on March 26-28, 2026 at Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort, Panglao, Bohol.

The meeting featured updates on the continued implementation of DOH flagship programs, including PuroKalusugan, Bagong Urgent Care and Ambulatory Service (BUCAS) Centers, Wellness Clinics, and the Zero Balance Billing policy as well as preparations for the ASEAN-related activities.

Plans for the Supplemental Immunization Activity (SIA) for Measles and Rubella were also presented, with the goal of increasing child immunization coverage and preventing outbreaks. Representatives from partner agencies and organizations likewise shared updates, underscoring a whole-of-government approach in strengthening regional health systems and improving service delivery.
