ISPH Gabriela Silang Community Cares - Pantay Tamurong, Caoayan Ilocos Sur.

In line with the celebration of World Rabies Day, Dr.John Gedrick Pizarro, Head of the Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC), together with Ms.Russell Rabena conducted lecture about rabies. It increases the awareness and knowledge of the community on rabies prevention, control and proper management in order to achieve rabies free community in 2030.

Mr. RM Querubin also conducted lecture on Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO) Management or โ€œChokingโ€. It also equip the community with the knowledge and skills to properly recognize and manage choking to prevent death and complications.

Ms. Janice de Marie Olivas and Ms. Sylvia Lorma Ragasa discussed the importance of proper waste segregation and proper handwashing..

The Health Emergency Management Staff (HEMS) of ISPH Gabriela Silang, in partnership with the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and ISDH Magsingal trainers conducted Basic Life Support Training to the staff and employees of ISDH Magsingal.

The Basic Life Support (BLS) is part of the hospitalโ€™s continuing efforts to strengthen the knowledge and skills of its personnel in responding to medical emergencies. The activity aimed to equip hospital staff with the necessary competencies to recognize and manage life-threatening conditions, particularly cardiac arrest and respiratory emergencies.
