The City Health Office (CHO) of Cotabato City organized a Zumba session for its officers, staff, and healthcare workers. The wellness initiative aligns with the Department of Health (DOH) 7 Healthy Habits campaign, specifically highlighting Habit 1: Diet and Exercise.

CHO-Cotabato emphasizes that healthcare providers must lead by example. Under DOH Healthy Habit 1, individuals are encouraged to engage in at least 30 minutes of physical activity to combat sedentary office habits, maintain a healthy body weight, and reduce the risk of non-communicable conditions such as hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes.

Beyond its physical benefits, the session also served as a great team-building activity, boosting morale and promoting camaraderie across various CHO-Cotabato units.

Regular fitness and wellness activities will remain ongoing programs to help ensure a resilient, physically fit workforce dedicated to public service.

πŸ’‘ REMEMBER: Daily exercise + healthy eating = A stronger body!
