To help a person having a seizure:

✅Lay the person down, on their side, head turned to help breathing
✅Ensure the person is breathing properly – loosen clothing around the neck
✅Place something soft under the head
✅Stay with the person until the seizure stops and they wake up
✅Don’t restrain the person or put anything in their mouth

Last January 19, 2026, Rural Health Unit - Dangcagan launched the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity which spans until 13th of February. This health campaign aims to reduce morbidity of vaccine-preventable diseases specifically Measles and Rubella for all children age 6 to 59 months. The activity also intends to reduce Vitamin A deficiency among children by Vitamin A supplementation.

Today, with the continuous coordination of the entire RHU staff, together with the respective Barangay Councils and Barangay Health Workers, we have already mobilized the activity to most of the barangays. Part of our strategy to cover all eligible children, we intend to immunize children at the respective Barangay Health Stations (BHS) and different designated posts.

We extend our gratitude to all parents and primary caregivers who send their children for vaccination in support of this health campaign. We also encourage that we only spread facts about health and vaccination, and stay away from fake news. We further encourage parents to come to their respective BHS if they have any queries or reservations regarding the campaign.

We claim this year — a year where children are more active, and healthier than ever!
