Sa pagtatapos ng HIV Awareness Month, samahan kami sa isang makabuluhang talakayan tungkol sa HIV—isang usaping patuloy na nangangailangan ng tamang kaalaman, pag-unawa, at pagkilos.

Alamin ang mahahalagang impormasyon tungkol sa HIV, kabilang ang mga paraan ng transmission, pag-iwas, kahalagahan ng maagang pagpapasuri, at totoong mga detalye tungkol sa HIV. Tatalakayin din ang mga maling paniniwala tungkol sa HIV upang makatulong sa pagbawas ng stigma at diskriminasyon.

In celebration of Nutrition Month 2026, the Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC), through its Department of Geriatric Medicine, in partnership with the Gender and Development (GAD) Program, successfully conducted its Adult Daycare Activity entitled "Masustansyang Pagkain, Susi sa Malusog na Pagtanda" on July 30, 2026, at the LCC Event Center, Legazpi City. The activity was organized to promote healthy ageing through nutrition awareness, social participation, and equitable access to gender-responsive health education among older adults.

The activity gathered senior citizens for an afternoon of meaningful learning and fellowship featuring dance exercise, guided sharing of experiences, a nutrition lecture on healthy eating for older adults, and the interactive nutrition game, "Pinggang Pinoy para kay Lolo at Lola," which encouraged teamwork while reinforcing the importance of balanced nutrition. Participants also enjoyed an awarding ceremony and photo opportunity in recognition of their active participation.

The program highlighted BRHMC's commitment to person-centered, age-friendly, and gender-responsive healthcare, recognizing that elderly women and men have unique health and nutritional needs. Through health education, social engagement, and interactive activities, the Adult Daycare Program continues to empower older adults to make informed lifestyle choices, maintain functional independence, and enjoy a healthier, more active, and dignified life.

BRHMC extends its sincere appreciation to the Gender and Development (GAD) Program, LCC Foundation, Public Health Unit and, facilitators, resource speakers, and all partners who contributed to the success of this meaningful celebration in support of healthy ageing and the well-being of our senior citizens.

As we culminate the 52nd Nutrition Month Celebration, the Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center – Nutrition and Dietetics Section, in partnership with the Public Health Unit (PHU) and Health Emergency and Disaster Management Unit (HEDMU), extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful celebration held on July 30, 2026, at the BRHMC Grounds.

The culminating activity showcased the energy and creativity of our BRHMC community through the NutriMoves 2 Dance Competition, the launching of the 7 Healthy Habits Booths, the participation of our valued Department of Agrarian Reform – Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (DAR ARBO) partners, the Nutrition and Dietetics Section Logo Making Contest Awarding, and the General Awarding Ceremony recognizing the outstanding efforts of participating offices and individuals.
Congratulations to the Nursing Service Office, in collaboration with the Administrative Division, for emerging as the Champion of the NutriMoves 2 Dance Competition!

In her message, the Nutrition Month Celebration Coordinator Britanico emphasized that protecting our health begins with protecting our environment. The Medical Technology Internship Training Program of the Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center recently conducted its 2nd Clinical Graduation with the theme: Alindaw: Reflection of Growth, Radiance and Purpose.

The activity was held at the Legazpi City Convention Center last July 18, 2026.

There were 90 graduates from the different Higher Education Institutions in the Bicol Region and NCR- the University of Santo Tomas- Legazpi, Ago Medical and Educational Center, Universidad de Santa Isabel de Naga, Inc, the Shepherdville College and the National University- Mall of Asia.

This event marks not just the end of the clinical internship, but also a culmination of months of hardwork, resilience and unwavering commitment.

Congratulations, Batch Alindaw. Thank you for choosing BRHMC as your training laboratory. Goodluck on your next journey- the Medical Technology Licensure Examination.
