Expanding access to safe, efficient, and minimally invasive image-guided care.

Over one weekend, the SPMC Department of Radiological and Imaging Sciences - Vascular and Interventional Radiology team successfully completed nine interventional procedures conventionally requiring inpatient care:

🔹 Seven CT-guided lung and anterior mediastinal mass biopsies
🔹 One CT-guided retroperitoneal mass biopsy
🔹 One image-guided abdominal pigtail catheter insertion

Following six hours of post-procedure monitoring, all patients were discharged in improved condition, with no immediate complications.

A milestone made possible by the dedication, teamwork, and coordinated efforts of the entire DORIS team.
