If you’re trying to get pregnant ,
Don't forget to take your folic acid supplements during your trying period.
If you're pregnant already, its important to take always take your folic acid
Folic acid helps reduce the risk of having a baby with spina bifida or other problems affecting the baby's spine and neural tube.

Babies with this problem usually are born without a brain.
They also have problems with movement, infections and are unable to control their bladder ( they cant control when and where they p*e)
If you're carrying a baby with this problem, pregnancy is likely to end in a miscarriage or stillbirth. Babies who happen to be born usually go to heaven within a few hours to days after birth.
This defect will be seen on an ultrasound during screening. You might be advised to terminate pregnancy if detected.
So are you taking your folic acid supplements?
If not, its about time you started doing so.
Please Don't skip your ultrasounds during pregnancy.
Its very important.
