🩺 DAY 2/2 — STANDARD FIRST AID & BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING 🩺🚑

✅ TRAINING COMPLETED! 🎉❤️‍🩹

Alhamdulillah! Today, we successfully completed the 2-Day Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support Training with a challenging and meaningful simulation scenario: a road/vehicular accident involving multiple victims. 🚗💥

For the final practical activity, our participants were organized into different emergency response roles, including the Incident Commander, Safety Officer Team, Treatment Officer Team, and Triage Team. Everyone worked together to assess, prioritize, rescue, and provide appropriate initial care to the victims according to the severity of their conditions.

The scenario included victims classified under the different triage categories:
🔴 RED TAG – Immediate/Priority Care
🟡 YELLOW TAG – Delayed Care
🟢 GREEN TAG – Minor/Walking Wounded
⚫ BLACK TAG – Deceased/Expectant

This simulation reminded us that during an actual emergency, every second matters, every role matters, and teamwork can make the difference. It is not only about knowing what to do, but also about communicating clearly, staying calm under pressure, following the chain of command, ensuring scene safety, and working as one team. 🤝❤️‍🩹

May this training remind us that being a healthcare worker means being prepared not only inside the health center, but also wherever our community needs us. The knowledge and skills we gained are not just certificates or accomplishments—they are tools that may one day help us save a life.

In between our activities today, we also conducted Dengue Surveillance at Binugao National High School together with the CHO Tropical Team, led by Team Leader Sir Glen Flores a.k.a Toy Flores , and our dedicated Team Sitio Sto. Niño.

A heartfelt thank you to our School Principal, Sir William Dabon Enriquez, and all the teachers for their presence and valuable assistance to our Tropical Team. We also appreciate the active support of our BHWs, Purok Leader, and BNS who joined and helped make today’s dengue surveillance activity possible. 🤝❤️
