Isang sanhi ng Cushing Syndrome ay ang maling pag inom ng steroids. Kung may kamag-anak o kakilala kayong laging ina-atake ng arthritis at laging umiinom at ginagawang maintenance ang steroids o umiinom ng herbal supplements na naglalaman ng steroids, magpakonsulta na agad para mabigyan ng wastong gamot at maiwasan ang ganitong sakit.
