Mahitungod sa nasinati nga panahon tungod sa LPA, ang Lipadas River sa Barangay Lizada nahimutang na sa Code Yellow o ALERT LEVEL. Ginapahimangnuan ang tanan lumulopyo daplin sa Lipadas River nga mag andam sa atung GO BAG sa possibleng pag bakwit.

Due to the weather disturbance brought by the Trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA), the 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 along Brgy. Bato (a tributary of the Lipadas River) is now at 𝐂𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 (𝘊𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘓𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭) and continues to rise.

In view of this, BDRRMCs along the Lipadas River are advised to pre-position resources, alert communities, conduct 𝐑𝐄𝐊𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀, closely monitor their Areas of Responsibility (AORs)—especially flood-prone areas—prepare evacuation sites, and provide timely feedback to the CDRRMO-OPCEN Apo Base regarding any changes in the situation.

Meanwhile, the PUBLIC is reminded to be vigilant and address the situation accordingly.

The Barangay Lizada Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) is calling all new aspiring volunteers to attend the Volunteer Orientation on:

🗓 Date: September 13, 2025 (Saturday)
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM
📍 Venue: Disaster Operations Center, Purok Curvada, Barangay Hall of Lizada

This orientation will give you an overview of your roles and responsibilities as future responders and community volunteers. Attendance is highly encouraged to ensure proper onboarding and alignment with our disaster preparedness programs.

Please come in white shirt and bring your endorsement letter from your Purok Leader, and parent’s consent (for minors).

Together, let’s build a safer and more resilient Barangay Lizada!
