Another Successful Serbisyong KUYOG Ta Free Surgery and Free Check up

A total of 15 patients successfully underwent free surgical procedures:

• 9 Total Thyroidectomy
• 3 Hernia surgeries
• 3 Other surgical cases

We are deeply grateful to our dedicated doctors: Dr. Jonathan Navarro, Dr. Imeldo Gamallo, and Dr. Kette Espinas for sharing their expertise, time, and compassion in serving our people.

Aside from the successful surgeries, 220 patients from all over the Province were also accommodated for free medical check-ups at the OPD. From 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM, our patients patiently waited for their turn. A true testament to their hope and gratitude for accessible healthcare.

Their heartfelt thanks go to Governor Darel Uy for continuously initiating programs that bring quality medical care closer to the people of Zamboanga del Norte through the Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center Medical Team.

Gratitude for Another Successful Mission to Cebu

Through the love and compassion of Gov. Gov Darel Uy , the Zamboanga del Norte Medical Team successfully assisted 12 patients in traveling to Cebu City for specialized medical care like Surgery and treatment.

Notably, many patients specifically requested the presence and assistance of Mam Dina Herdina Gallegos , Head of the ZDN Medical Team. Their patience was rewarded as Mam Herdina personally accompanied and guided them throughout their journey, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

So thankful also to V Sotto Medical Center for the fast Accomodation of our 4patients to the passionate E.R triage nurses, recieiving Residents Doctors of Neuro and Spine Surgery, General Surgery and Pedia dept . Four (4) patients were successfully admitted at V Sotto; a brain tumor from Taguilon, Dapitan, spine Case for surgery from Sta. Felomina, Dipolog, 3yrs old boy diagnosed with Severe Anemia from Diwan, Dipolog and Lung Case for Surgery from Dipolog City. 5th patient from SITUBO, OSMEÑA was also successfully admitted at Southwestern University Medical Center thru the full support of Cong. PinPin Uy

August 17, 2026 -A Continuing Gesture of Compassion and Service

Another life-saving journey made possible through the continuing compassionate service of Governor Gov Darel Uy

A patient from Dipolog City was transported to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu for specialized lung surgery, assisted by Nurse Alaissa Karyll Alyssa Karylle Reluya and Ambulance Driver Sir Reneboy It-It.

Special recognition goes to our dedicated and passionate Nurse Alyssaa, whose unwavering commitment to the patient was truly remarkable. Throughout the journey aboard the Medallion vessel, she diligently administered the patient’s medications, continuously monitored the patient’s condition, and remained by the patient’s side, even sacrificing sleep to ensure the patient’s safety and comfort.

Also accompanying the patient throughout the journey was Ma’am Herdina Gallegos , Head of the Medical Team, whose presence and support further strengthened the mission.

This is what compassionate public service looks like. Going beyond duty, serving with heart, and making sure that every patient receives the care and assistance they deserve.

A SELFLESS SERVICE BEYOND DUTY

Even in the midst of an important celebration, the commitment to saving lives never takes a break.

Despite being busy with preparations for the 18th Founding Anniversary of Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center (ZNMC), the call for an emergency patient admitted at ACE Medical Center transport to Cebu came unexpectedly—and without hesitation, the Medical Team immediately responded.

A critically ill patient from Jose Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte with a GCS of 13, who was already intubated following a motorcycle accident, urgently needed to be transferred to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC), Cebu City for specialized neurosurgical management.

Through the fast assistance of Governor Gov Darel Uy , the patient was promptly facilitated for transfer and given the opportunity to receive the urgent care needed.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Medical Team Nurse Kaime Ordiz and Ambulance Driver Clyde Giangan Giangan for their dedication and willingness to travel for this emergency mission.

Safe Transfer & Lifesaving Assistance - August 12,2026

The Zamboanga del Norte Medical Team successfully facilitated the admission of Patient Richard Dalogdog Sr. -diagnosed with Subdural Hygroma Bilateral Frontal with Frontal and Temporal Atrophy -to Chong Hua Hospital Fuente, Cebu City for specialized neurosurgical management.

The transfer was safely carried out by:
