🗳️ DITSAAN RAMAIN RHU IN ACTION | 1st BARMM PARLIAMENT ELECTION

The Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit (RHU) under the leadership of Dra. Normallah Dimalotang-Alonto actively supported the successful and peaceful conduct of the 1st BARMM Parliament Election in the Municipality of Ditsaan Ramain.

RHU personnel provided health monitoring, first aid and basic medical assistance, health assessment, and emergency response support to voters, election personnel, and other stakeholders throughout the electoral process.

The RHU’s presence ensured that essential health services remained accessible during this significant democratic exercise, reinforcing its commitment to responsive, accessible, and people-centered public health service.

The Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit successfully celebrated Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 and Adolescent Immunization Month through a meaningful program focused on the health, wellness, and empowerment of our adolescents. 💉🧑‍🤝‍🧑🌱

Bringing Healthcare Closer to Every Family

The Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit (RHU) successfully conducted Purok Kalusogan in Barangay Buada Babai, bringing essential health services closer to the community and making healthcare more accessible to every family.

Guided by the dedicated and compassionate leadership of Dra. Normallah Dimalotang-Alonto, Municipal Health Officer, the Ditsaan Ramain RHU continues to strengthen its commitment to serving the community with care, dedication, and genuine concern for the health and well-being of every resident. Together with Dra. Rizwana D. Tanggol (DTTB) and Dr. Hisham U. Doro (DDP-Dentist), the health team provided various services, including medical consultations, blood pressure screening, routine immunization, dental services, nutrition assessment, and health education.

Purok Kalusogan was more than just a health activity—it was a meaningful opportunity to meet the people where they are, listen to their health needs, and provide services within their own community. Residents were also reminded about the importance of prevention, proper nutrition, immunization, oral health, healthy lifestyle practices, and regular health check-ups.

The activity was made possible through the valuable support and cooperation of the Barangay Local Government Unit of Buada Babai, under the leadership of Hon. Barangay Chairman Albari Hadji Salic, the Barangay Health Workers, community volunteers, and the residents of Barangay Buada Babai.

LOOK | FAMILY PLANNING MONTH 2026 CELEBRATION 💜💜

The Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit (RHU), spearheaded by Dr. Normallah D. Alonto, with the support of the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) – Lanao del Sur, successfully conducted the Family Planning Month 2026 Celebration on August 25, 2026, Barangay Buada Babai, Ramain, Lanao del Sur.

The celebration was held in line with this year’s theme:

“Ang SMART na Pamilya, Panalo! Tara, Usap Tayo sa Family Planning!”

The activity aimed to promote awareness and understanding of family planning as an essential component of maternal, child, and family health. It provided an opportunity for community members, particularly prospective family planning users and current family planning users, to learn more about the different family planning methods, their benefits, and the importance of making informed and responsible decisions for their families.

The celebration featured various health education, advocacy, and awareness activities, including discussions on Family Planning, Breastfeeding, and the Importance of Immunization, as well as other essential maternal and child health services. These activities encouraged meaningful conversations between health workers and community members and emphasized the importance of accessible, accurate, and client-centered health information.

The event was made more meaningful through the active participation of the community, creating a colorful, engaging, and fun-filled celebration while ensuring that important health messages were shared. Through this initiative, the Ditsaan Ramain RHU continues to strengthen its commitment to providing quality health services and empowering individuals and families to make informed choices about their reproductive health and overall well-being.

Successful Conduct of Onsite Mentoring and Monitoring for iClinicSys Implementation at Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit, aimed at strengthening the use of the electronic health information system in the delivery and management of health services.

The activity provided an opportunity to assess the current implementation of iClinicSys, address operational concerns, provide technical guidance, and reinforce the capacity of RHU personnel in the proper and efficient utilization of the system.

Through continuous mentoring, monitoring, and collaboration, the activity contributes to improving data quality, completeness, timely reporting, and efficient health information management, ultimately supporting evidence-based decision-making and better delivery of healthcare services to the community.

This month, we join the nation in raising awareness and strengthening our commitment to protecting vision, promoting inclusion, and upholding the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities.

Sight-Saving Month reminds us that eye health is an essential part of overall health. Through regular eye examinations, early detection, proper treatment, and healthy eye practices, many causes of visual impairment can be prevented or managed.

At the same time, National Disability Rights Week calls on all sectors of society to recognize and uphold the rights of persons with disabilities and promote a community where everyone can participate equally and live with dignity.

SUCCESSFUL CONDUCT OF PUROK KALUSOGAN IN BRGY. DILAUSAN, DITSAAN RAMAIN 💜

The Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit (Ditsaan Cluster) successfully conducted Purok Kalusogan in Barangay Dilausan, Ditsaan Ramain, bringing essential health services and information closer to the community.

The activity provided residents with an opportunity to access basic healthcare services, receive health education, and seek appropriate health advice from the dedicated healthcare team. Through this initiative, the local health team continues to promote preventive healthcare, early detection of health concerns, and improved access to essential health services at the community level.

Purok Kalusogan serves as an important platform for strengthening community participation in health and encouraging individuals and families to take an active role in protecting and improving their well-being.

The RHU extends its sincere appreciation to the Barangay Dilausan officials, Barangay Health Workers, community leaders, and residents for their active participation and continued support.
