In line with the commitment to strengthen primary healthcare and promote preventive health services at the community level, the Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit (RHU) under the supervision of Dra. Normallah Dimalotang-Alonto, successfully conducted the Purok Kalusogan in Barangay Mandara.

The activity brought essential health services closer to the community through health consultations, health promotion, preventive interventions, and other primary healthcare services aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of residents.

The Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit extends its sincere appreciation to Hon. Chairwoman Inoray P. H. Azis of Barangay Mandara, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), and all participating residents for their invaluable support and active participation, which greatly contributed to the successful implementation of this initiative.

Through strengthened collaboration and community engagement, the RHU remain committed to advancing the goals of Universal Health Care by ensuring that quality, accessible, and people-centered health services reach every barangay.

MOH-BARMM URGES THE PUBLIC TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DOH JULY NATIONWIDE DEWORMING CAMPAIGN AND BE VIGILANT AGAINST MISINFORMATION

The Ministry of Health – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM) encourages all parents, guardians, schools, local government units, and communities to actively participate in the Department of Health (DOH) July Nationwide Deworming Campaign. Deworming is a safe, effective, and evidence-based intervention that protects children and adolescents aged 1–19 years from soil-transmitted helminth (intestinal worm) infections.

The medicines Albendazole and Mebendazole are recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Department of Health (DOH) and have been safely used for many years. While some children may experience mild and temporary side effects, these are generally expected and can be properly managed by trained healthcare workers.

The MOH-BARMM Integrated Helminth Control Program (IHCP), together with the Department of Health (DOH) and partner agencies, ensures that all school-based and community-based deworming activities are conducted safely and in accordance with national guidelines.

The Ministry also urges everyone to rely only on verified information from DOH and MOH-BARMM and to refrain from sharing unverified reports or misinformation that may create unnecessary fear and discourage participation.

Together, let us protect every Bangsamoro child by participating in the July Nationwide Deworming Campaign for a healthier and worm-free BARMM.

This achievement belongs to our Nurses, Midwives, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs), and the entire RHU team, who tirelessly go into the field to reach every family across the municipality.

From the mountainous communities, farmlands, coastal areas, highways, and even the most remote corners of Ditsa-an Ramain, our health workers continue to visit homes, provide essential health and nutrition services, monitor the health of mothers and children, and ensure that no one is left behind.

We likewise extend our heartfelt gratitude and deepest appreciation to our Municipal Health Officer, Dra. Normallah M. 🦟🌿 Dengue Awareness Month(June 2026)
📍 Brgy. Gadongan, Ditsaan Ramain,LDS

The community of Barangay Gadongan, Ditsaan Ramain came together in support of a successful Dengue Awareness Activity, promoting health, safety, and unity among residents.

Through information drives, house-to-house visits, and active participation in environmental sanitation, residents were reminded of the importance of eliminating mosquito breeding sites and practicing daily preventive measures.

💧 TAOB, TAKTAK, TUYO remains our simple yet powerful guide in protecting our homes and families from dengue.

More than just an awareness campaign, this initiative reflects a shared commitment—proving that through cooperation and discipline, we can build a cleaner, safer, and dengue-free community.

In addition, larviciding activities were conducted in Brgy. Bagoaingud, Ditsaan Ramain, led by the MOH and IPHO staff coordinators, to help control mosquito larvae in potential breeding sites.

📚 We also joined Brigada Eskwela at Barimbingan School, supporting the cleanup and preparation of a safe and healthy learning environment for students.
