As of August 19, 2026, a total of 79,897 (46.35%) eligible children aged 6–59 months in the Province of Iloilo have already received their protection against measles and rubella. 💗💪

On Day 8 of the campaign, we continue to see strong efforts from our LGUs and vaccination teams. Three LGUs have already surpassed the 68% cumulative target for Day 8 — Guimbal (77.06%), Miagao (76.72%), and Lemery (70.92%). 👏💪

As we move into Day 9 of the campaign today, the cumulative target rises to 76.5%. We strongly encourage all LGUs to intensify their vaccination activities, maximize every available vaccination opportunity, and recalibrate their vaccination session plans to accelerate coverage and close the gap toward the campaign target.

To all Ilonggo parents and guardians, please welcome our vaccination teams and have your children aged 6–59 months vaccinated. Your decision to vaccinate helps protect your child and strengthens community protection against measles and rubella.

Let us keep moving forward, Iloilo! Every child vaccinated is one step closer to a measles- and rubella-free province. ❤️

Today, August 10, 2026, marks the Launching of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) at Brgy. Ponong Grande, Dueñas, Iloilo.

This important activity is a united effort to protect our children from measles and rubella, promoting healthier families and a safer, stronger community. 👧👦💉

🌟 Empowering Families, Protecting Women's Health! 🌟

​In observance of Family Planning Month this August, Dueñas MHO conducted a Family Planning Day and Cervical Cancer Screening with VIA!

​We provided family planning services and counselling to women and free cervical cancer screening using Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA).

Cervical Cancer Screeng with VIA is a safe and effective way to safeguard women's health through early detection.

​Thank you to everyone who participated and took a proactive step toward health and wellness!

The Municipality of Dueñas proudly joined the Simultaneous Kick-off Activity of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) during the Flag Raising Ceremony, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding the health and future of every child in the community.

This nationwide campaign highlights the importance of immunization in protecting children against measles and rubella and preventing outbreaks through collective action. The Local Government Unit, together with the Municipal Health Office and partner agencies, encourages all parents and guardians to support the MR-SIA campaign by ensuring that eligible children receive their measles-rubella vaccine.
