The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that 47 children have died of the flu so far during the 2024-’25 season. Flu activity remains elevated and is increasing across the country, according to new data from the CDC.

It’s not too late to get your flu vaccine! AAP and CDC recommend everyone six months and older get vaccinated against flu.

😷 Hikayatin si lolo at lola na magsuot ng mask

📣 Calling Parents of Kids with PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus) 📣

We are currently looking for children diagnosed with PDA in Negros, Cebu or neighboring provinces in Visayas and Mindanao who need PDA device closure (“PDA fix”). ❤️

Paths are:
- to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu, or
- to hospital in Bacolod in Negros, or
- to Santos Medical Center in Manila

If you know a child who may qualify, please send us a private message with the patient’s details and ensure the following are complete:

✔️ Imna lamang ang limpyo ug luwas nga tubig
✔️ Likayi ang paghikap sa apektadong hayop
