Buwan ng Wika 2014, last school activity she participated before she was diagnosed Acute Leukemia. They supposed to dance that day but due to bad weather the program was canceled. I wasn't around while they were practicing, I remembered that parents used to tell me that my daughter looks so tired but she is determined teaching her dance group.

I never knew that after this event, everything will change forever.

I'll keep her in my heart, knowing that we love her very much and we will always miss our ANGEL 👼🏻 YNAH 💛 IN ☁️ HEAVEN and that GOD will protect her while we're apart.

What is SEPTEMBER for us?

It is Children's cancer awareness month. The Gold 🎗 Ribbon is the Awareness ribbon for the children affected by cancer! GOLD IS A PRECIOUS METAL 💛 There wouldn't be any other awareness color fitting for our children because they are precious they are everything & they are the future!!!

The Gold 🎗 ribbon is not only a sign of our children but it brings HOPE when a Childhood Cancer family sees somebody with a Gold 🎗 Ribbon, be it on a shirt, bag, purse 💛

It gives them HOPE that a cure will be found. Show me your Gold this coming Childhood Cancer Awareness month.

I hope you never have to hear the words...
"your child has cancer."
I hope you never have to hear...
"the prognosis is not good"
I hope you never have to prepare for radiation or chemotherapy.
I hope you never have to see a port surgically inserted into their chest.
I hope you never have to see them connected to iv poles.
I hope you never have to hold them as they vomit repeatedly for hours upon end.
I hope you never have to feed them ice chips for lunch.
I hope you never have to watch the very thing that is suppose to make them better take away their identity.
I hope you never have to see how they will lose their hair, become skeletal, pale and swollen, weak to the point where they will barely be able to walk or even move.
I hope you will never have to stay in the hospital for weeks, months or years at a time.
I hope you will never have to hear the screams of children from down the hall or the soft cries of the parents to those who did not make it.
I hope you will never have to use every bit of energy you have left with all of this going on around you to remain positive as the feelings of guilt, sorrow, hope and fear overwhelm you.
I hope your life never becomes a whirl of doctors, tests or scans as you live in mind-numbing fear that any one of those could result in hearing the dreadful words...
"The cancer is back"
"The cancer is spreading" or
"There is nothing more we can do"
I hope you never have to experience any of these things because only then will you understand that Cancer is an ugly beast.

As Christopher Robin once said, "If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever." Ynah will always be in our hearts, and we take comfort knowing she has her best bear right beside her.

...she faced it with smiles and unwavering bravery. As she went home to Heaven. No longer in pain, no more cancer, no more brokenness. She is now whole and smiling in the arms of his Savior. There is always something to be thankful. On going blood transfusion again of five units of irradiated leukoreduced platelets concentrated to avoid dropping platelets while we wait for dental wound healing and we are ready for discharge. Repeat CBC and follow up check up with her Doctor after a week.
Thank you God who gave such great people like our family, friends, donors and doctors. Without you all by our side we could not make it this far. Hope and pray for the better.

Happy 22nd Birthday to my beautiful angel in heaven. It has been eleven years since you gained your wings in 2015, but you still live in every beat of my heart. I miss you more than words can ever say, especially today.

I hope the angels are throwing you the most beautiful celebration worthy of the wonderful twenty-two-year-old woman you should be.

Sending all my love, hugs, and flying kisses to the sky today.

I'm learning to deal with my loss day by day while attempting to be strong for your little sister.
