Life is Shortβ¦.
π βIf Today Is Our Last Dayβ¦
A Reflection on the Reality of Lifeβ
If today is our last dayβ¦
Magsesermon pa ba tayo dahil walang nagligpit ng plato?
Magpapastress pa ba tayo sa mga taong hindi naman nagbabayad ng kuryente natin?
At yung favorite plates natin,
itatago lang ba natin for βspecial occasionsβ only?
Hello???? Ngayon na mismo yung special occasion. π€£
Kung last day na talaga today,
siguro tatawa tayo nang mas malakas,
magpapatawad nang mas mabilis,
at kakainin na natin yung pinaka-crispy part ng fried chicken
nang walang guilt, walang sharing.
(Yes. OUR day. OUR chicken. Char. π)
Weβd probably tell the people we love:
βSalamat haβ¦ for staying, kahit minsan nakakapagod din ako.β
Weβd hug longer.
Weβd stop performing.
Weβd finally start living.
Kasi totoo namanβ¦
madalas nagiging autopilot ang buhay.
Same routine, same problems, same chismis, same issues β
parang teleserye na naka-loop.
Pero eto ang nakakalimutan natin:
Life is not a rehearsal.
Wala tayong dress rehearsal dito.
THIS is the show.
So what if⦠we lived today as if it were our last?
Not in a nakaka-anxiety way,
pero yung nakakatawa, nakakagising,
at yung tumatagos hanggang kaluluwa.
We stop waiting for βperfect timing.β
We start speaking from the heart, hindi mula sa pride.
We enjoy the tiny joys β
sunlight sa mukha, amoy ng bagong timplang kape,
yung katahimikan na dati hindi natin pinapansin.
We choose peace over being right.
We choose gratitude over comparison.
We choose presence over overthinking.
At dun natin makikita yung magic:
kapag nabuhay tayo like itβs our last dayβ¦
biglang nagiging extraordinary
ang lahat ng ordinary things around us.
So todayβ¦
WE CHOOSE TO LIVE.
Fully.
Honestly.
Joyfully.
Purposefully.
Kasi kung last day na talaga todayβ¦
gusto nating iwan ang mundong βto
na may isang malinaw na katotohanan:
βWE LIVED β not perfectlyβ¦
but beautifully, bravely, gratefully.β
At sa totoo lang,
sapat na βyon. ππΏ
