GALIMUYOD’s FIRST AIDERS AND LIFE SAVERS:
Trained, Equipped, Ready to Respond‼️

Standard First Aid (SFA) Basic Life Support (BLS) training for Local Government Units is a capacity-building program designed to equip government employees, disaster response teams, and community health workers with life-saving emergency response skills.
Aside from merely being a requirement we need ti comply, Galimuyod bestowed its passion and commitment by allowing its employees to be trained and be equipped with the basics and updates of Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support. In the constantly changing fields of healthcare, disaster management and emergency response, continuous learning helps us remain competent, prepared and confident in fulfilling our responsibilities.
Moreover, more participants were added for the training aiming to widen the circle of life savers across various government agencies.
Bridging the gap between the onset of a medical emergency or accident and the arrival of medical care or transport to a health facility, the participants were effectively and efficiently trained by the facilitators from the Ilocos Sur Provincial Health Office.
This training has moulded the increasing and more effective-efficient life savers of Galimuyod, ready to help and respond in case of disasters and emergencies.
