Young Voices General Santos City Advocates of Young People with Disabilities

Young Voices are groups of talented 16 – 25 year old “youths with disabilities” (YWDs) who work to advocate and promote
equal rights for the disabled community and to raise awareness of the
United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons With Disabilities (UNCRPD). Young Voices is a global project of Leonard Cheshire Disability and there are Young Voices groups in 19 countries around the world.

In the Philippines, Young Voices is one of the core programmes of the LCD Philippines Foundation, currently there are Four (4) YV Chapters in the
Philippines; YV NCR, Cavite,Iloilo, and General Santos City

we would like to proudly announce that our Young Voices' Chairman Kevin Paul Palaca has been chosen by the National Facilitator to be the representative in behalf of Young Voices Philippines on the YV Global meeting to be held in Nairobi, Kenya on 23rd - 25th of this Month (October 2013)

let us pray for his safety and success as our representative.
