We are honored to welcome Dr. Rachelle A. Bersamin, PhD, RPsy, RPm, RGC to our Gensan Psych Mental Health Hub family.

Dr. Rachelle is a licensed psychologist, registered psychometrician, and registered guidance counselor with a PhD in Guidance and Counseling. She brings with her extensive experience in psychological assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, mental health program development, and drug rehabilitation care. Her academic achievements are underscored by top placements in two national licensure examinations: a first-place finish in the 2017 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination and a third-place finish in the 2018 Psychologist Licensure Examination.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Rachelle has also made significant contributions to education and training, with more than two decades of experience in the academe, mentoring students, teaching psychology and social sciences, and serving as a resource person for mental health and licensure preparation.

Her warmth, expertise, and commitment to ethical, person-centered care make her a valuable addition to our growing team.

Dr. Rachelle will be available for consultations every Friday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. You may now book your appointments.

Due to the unfortunate damage suffered by St. Elizabeth's JCV Medical Arts Tower, all clinic appointments for Dr. Kevin will now be transitioned to Gensan Psych Mental Health Hub. To secure a slot, please message our page. Please be advised that usual waitlist is 2 weeks.

Dr. Kevin will still be holding clinic at Howard Hubbard Memorial Hospital - Polomolok every Wednesday at a new timeslot: 1PM-5PM.

Gensan Psych is arranging free in-person Psychological First Aid sessions through Pahulayan this June 12.

Each session allows a limited number of participants to keep the space safe and manageable.

Gensan Psych Advisory

To our Gensan community, we hope you and your loved ones are safe after the earthquake earlier today.

Please prioritize your physical safety first. Stay in a safe area, check for injuries or damage, remain alert for aftershocks, and keep your emergency contacts ready.

We also want to remind everyone to care for their mental safety. It is normal to feel shaken, anxious, tense, or overwhelmed after an earthquake. Take slow breaths, drink water, ground yourself, and check in with the people around you.

In light of today’s earthquake, Gensan Psych Mental Health Hub will be closed indefinitely while we assess the safety of our clinic space and prioritize the well-being of our clients, therapists, and team.

All scheduled sessions and consultations will be rescheduled. Please wait for our secretary to reach out regarding your new schedule. We ask for your patience and understanding as we coordinate everything safely.
