With the summer heat putting a strain on our national power grid, the Philippine Red Cross encourages every household to participate in Earth Hour. Reducing our load for just 60 minutes on March 28 at 8:30 PM is a practical act of patriotism.

Red Cross Youth Volunteer Formation Course
Our two-day journey was filled with learning, teamwork, and meaningful moments. These clips are from our activities and team building sessions where we practiced leadership, strengthened collaboration, and grew together as one RCY family.

Our Youth Volunteer Formation Course started with Registration and Opening. In the morning, we focused on examination and review to assess our knowledge and understanding.

In the afternoon, we participated in Team Building activities and Leadership Synthesis, practicing collaboration, teamwork, and applying the lessons we learned. The day included breaks and concluded with a meaningful Closing.

✨ 𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓼𝓸 𝓶𝓾𝓬𝓱 to the Philippine Red Cross volunteers for guiding, supporting, and sharing their knowledge with us.

✨ 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕥𝕠 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕪𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕨𝕙𝕠 𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕕 and participated wholeheartedly you all made this training meaningful, fun, and unforgettable.

Our 𝓕𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓓𝓪𝔂 of the Senior and Senior Plus Philippine Red Cross Youth Volunteer Formation Course officially began with a productive and inspiring start. Participants engaged in various activities and interactive games that helped strengthen 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌, improve 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, and build 𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓹 skills.

Throughout the day, members were introduced to essential lessons about the Red Cross, its Fundamental Principles, and the role of youth volunteers in humanitarian service. These discussions provided a deeper understanding of the values of compassion, integrity, and readiness.

Overall, our 𝓕𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓓𝓪𝔂 set a strong and meaningful tone for the entire seminar, reflecting the enthusiasm and dedication of our Senior and Senior Plus Red Cross Youth.

We look forward to more learning, teamwork, and impactful experiences in the coming days.

𝓡𝓮𝓪𝓭𝔂, 𝓐𝓵𝓮𝓻𝓽, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓟𝓻𝓮𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓭!

Our school community took part in an 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 to promote awareness, discipline, and cooperation during emergencies.
With everyone’s participation, the drill became a meaningful reminder that safety starts with preparation and teamwork.

Kudos to our students, faculty, and staff for taking the drill seriously and showing readiness in every step.
By practicing these procedures, we help build a safer environment for everyone.

When the alarm rings, we don’t panic we prepare.
Earthquake and fire drills done and learned.
Safety isn’t just a plan, it’s a habit.

🌧️ Stay Safe This Rainy Season! 🌧️

Prevent Leptospirosis & Stay Healthy During Floods

🦠 What is Leptospirosis?
A bacterial infection that spreads through water contaminated with rat urine, especially during floods.

⚠️ Symptoms to Watch Out For:
• Fever and chills 🤒
• Muscle pain 💢
• Red eyes 👀
• Headache 🧠
• Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice) 🟡

🛡️ How to Protect Yourself:
✅ Avoid wading in floodwaters. Use boots if necessary.
✅ Wash feet and legs with clean water and soap after contact with floodwater.
✅ Keep surroundings clean to prevent rats.
✅ Drink safe, clean water only.
✅ Seek medical help if you feel any symptoms.

💡 Remember: Prevention is better than cure! Stay dry, stay clean, and stay safe this rainy season.
